First, they accommodated us quickly and made us feel welcome despite the fact that we arrived a little over 15 minutes late for our reservation; we were expecting to wait but they seated us right away. The atmosphere is soooo pretty with greenery and fun music playing.Now the food: My husband ordered a cocktail and I ordered wine and both came out promptly & were generous in size. While we waited for our food, we looked at the meals that were coming out of the kitchen and everything looked delicious! The serving sizes are VERY generous. My husband ordered the chicken parm vodka special and I ordered the ravioli and meatball. We easily could have split the chicken parm to share. It was easily one of our favorite meal experiences, as everything was made to perfection. For dessert we ordered the cheesecakes.. I have high expectations for cheesecake and theirs did not disappoint. We both left feeling stuffed but in the best way. No notes. 12/10.“

The first time I got their special 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and corn very big took some food home. Second time, french onion soup and Eastchester burger with fries. Yummy and third time shared zucchini fries and had the famous burger salad, Eastchester burger on salad with vingarette. “It's a small little spot right off Grasslands Road down the hill from WCC. Before entering I was greeted by the owner, Sam. He was very cool and truly believes in what he is doing. I really like it when owners get involved. The inside is small but decorated very nicely. The sandwich wasn't too big and wasn't too small. I got the cheesesteak and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. I'm not sure if they make their own bread but it was extremely fresh. The steak was juicy and the red and yellow bell peppers added the perfect amount of sweetness. I am eager to try their other sandwiches. I love supporting local businesses that are passionate about what they do and make great food. This place is a little pricey but it is too notch quality. I definitely recommend the sandwich spot.“

Here's my Englebert Pumperdink with thick, fresh sliced turkey breast, ham, bacon, onion and tomato. Breaded mushrooms with horseradish sauce are great...and my friend loved his very tender shell/strip steak with an enormous onion ring and a side of mixed sweet potato fries and wedge fries. “My wife and I went out to lunch today in Locust Valley, NY. Last July, the LVI Bistro changed owners. Marcel has owned the restaurant for over 40 years. They had an excellent reputation and their food and serve was always high quality. This was our first visit since the change and we found it was quite good. We sat down in the bar room and was greeted by the new manager, Andrea. He was very nice and gave us their new menus. Everything looked great from the appetizers to the entrees to the desserts. My wife wanted something light, so she ordered a Cesar salad with grilled chicken strips. I ordered a hamburger with fries. Rita, a waitress from the previous owner, chatted with us about the change and was very positive. There is a new chef, who prepares the food and has a quick turnaround. Both our meals were delicious and were served hot. We talked with the manager and he told us they were going to decorate and renovate the formal dining, the upstairs dining area and the bar room area. We were excited that this local restaurant was getting some loving care from the new owners.We enjoyed our lunch time and enjoyed our experience at the LVI Bistro. When we asked for the check, Andrea brought a dish of tiramisu with two spoons. He told us the desserts were all homemade. It was excellent and was a great way to end our meal.This is a new LVI Bistro and they made a great first impression on both of us. I like to think of Wegmans as a kind of Stew Leonard's meets Big Y meets food court and marketplace with a wide range of offerings. Good pre-made sandwich, which was why I stopped in the first place. “The location is attached to the end of a craft beer market. Little hard to find. Have to continue walking past it outside and there's a door on the side. They do serve food however I didn't try any. I sampled the house lagers, IPA's and Stouts. Their main stout is absolutely phenomenal. The IPA's left a little to be desired for me. I like my IPA's with more of a hoppy bite at the end. The Lager was incredibly smooth and would be a great all day tailgating beer. Bar managers were very insightful about the products they had. Would recommend.“
