“Just finished eating Yellow Rice w/ Gandules and Bistec, with a couple pieces of sweet plantain, and a side of yuca and broccoli/cauliflower, and a majarete desert on the side, all for $20
The food is absolutely delicious. Authentic Dominican food. Price is good, food, everything.
You are not Dominicans, our biblical name is Israelite from the tribe of Simion. The name Dominican was given by the conquerors.

“My first time I ate from gustito was was Sunday January 6th about 3 days after it opened. I had a sandwich called “ Riky” it was amazing . Although I’m from the Dominican Republic I never had it. Today Sunday January 13th I ordered a shrimp mofongo , Salmon and chicharrones de pollos, all a hit. Gustito will definitively be a favorite Restaurant in sleepy hallow . Best of luck to the chef Ramon Rodriguez owner and Lourdes Rodriguez.“

“It's a take out place but it is so good. As soon as you walk it, it smells amazing. You'll need a minute to decide what to eat since everything looks so good. I got the Cubano with pernil and yuca frita and it was great. The employees were nice too. Definitely recommend takeout for a nice lunch and order delivery if you want “

Because I was Not happy with the indoor because it’s Extremely weird cafeteria lighting... they should think about more restaurant friendly lighting . Also Bathrooms were filthy . But the food and service make up for it.“

“I recommend the pork feet stew that’s the dish I like here. The mother and daughter duo I think they are the owners are very nice especially the daughter. The only thing I dislike is when I get a salty portion of the dish and I don’t expect it I end up not eating cause I get diarrhea when it’s too salty. So I hope and pray when I stop by they have them pork feet stew. The pork feet stew is perfectly seasoned. I don’t know why I like it a lot. It has cilantros and taste great with plain white rice and I ask for extra gravy. For a small plate $6, medium $10 and large $12. The price is very fair and good Dominican food.“

“Amazing costumer service can't really describe it. The food was good. I have 3 empanadas 1 quipe and 1 capriccio.(capricho is going to be the best potato fry ball that I ever was going to taste in your life).the capriccio that o had was with chicken. The quipe too. The empanadas were 1 philly stake the best out of the three, 1 guava and cheese was ok. And pork. It was good but not better than the philly stake. Oh and I had a passion fruit. Extremely good and natural. Oh and they have an outside sitting area. It's really pretty.
This place has incredible customer service. I liked coming here. And eat at the outside tables. I was passing through this area and noticed this monumental empanada and immediately entered. I ordered 3 empanadas, a caprice and a quipe.
The empanadas were. Philly stake. Guava and cheese. And the last pork. The caprice and the quipe were chicken.
The whim was what I liked the most. It's a dad's Villa with chicken inside. I recommend it. The Philly Sale empanadas have to be ordered, it doesn't matter if they tell you, ask for it, you'll thank me later. Another one he has. What to ask you not to buy on this occasion is the chicken with that and corn at the end. And the juice has to be olbligado passion fruit. And the guava and cheese empanada was not that good. I don't recommend it. But it's good.“

“Great food. I can't complain about the flavor here. However, the service of the workers here is marginal. My experience is a perfect example; ask for a lunch of rice, beans, sweet fried plantains, and stewed chicken. The woman added a bunch of rise into the container along with the beans and the. Charged me separately for the stewed chicken and a bunch of sweet plantains in a container too when all I wanted was like 2-3 pieces of the sweet plantains in the same bowl as a lunch style and pay for just that.

“Yala is such a kind and friendly person, plus her food is delicious. I called to specify that I wanted a dompling because the app did not give me the option to choose the dompling. She took the call and it was a pleasure to speak with such a kind, attentive and pleasant person. Thanks yala. 10/10“

“The Parrot Restaurant in Yonkers is one of the best Spanish restaurants in the area. They offer amazing family meals at unbelievable prices. Unlike others, their food is incredibly fresh. For example, even the white rice tastes like it was made the same day. The beans are very well-seasoned, and when you order the bean stew, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find carrots and potatoes—ingredients often overlooked at many Spanish restaurants.
Their empanadas are made to order, meaning they don't sit under a heat lamp; they are freshly prepared when you order them. The freshness and quality of their food are truly unmatched. Additionally, the variety of dishes they offer ensures that there is something for everyone, whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian.
All in all, this is definitely a go-to spot for good quality food at great prices. Last but not least, the staff is wonderful, including the guys who do the deliveries. They are always friendly, prompt, and ensure that your food arrives hot and fresh. I wish them all the best and will definitely make this my regular place for Spanish food at least a few times a month.“

“Great experience! I was super indecisive when choosing what I wanted to order but the woman who seemed like the head lady in charge was helpful. $12 plates may seem steep to some but it was worth it. I’ve been here twice and I can’t complain about the food or service. 10/10“

“When I Entered This Place My First Impression Was Enough for me to know that they would give 100% so that I, as well as any client who arrives, would leave Formidably Satisfied. When it comes to businesses with this type of concept, I could say that this is the cleanest I have ever visited in my life, everything impeccable. The atmosphere is super pleasant, music at an appropriate volume for the place. No matter how difficult your day was, if you come here you will have an experience so good that you will leave the place happy. As for the food, ufff, The Best Quipes in NY are here, some delicious croquettes, and the Yaroa Delicious. It has a very extensive menu and a lot of variety to choose from. “This is my go to spot on ubereats. The chicken chunks are so so good, the best I've had. And the rice is delicious. The pernil is also perfectly cookedOther restaurants spanish food is usually hard or chewy but this is the best I've had. Yesterday 1/27 I spent $75 on ubereats and half of my order was missing and the restaurant acknowledged the error. Uber refused to give me a refund. Angel was so nice and offered to give me the missing food the next day or another day. Frank handled the situation and paid for me to get the missing food. That is customer service!“

“I have been at least 5 times. I love eatting rice, salad, beans, and plantains. I have only had the buffet. The food is good and they arrange it nice on a plate and bring it to your table. Many of the employees don't speak English, but we both try really hard and end up at the right place. My boyfriend says "i don't know what they do to the pork, but it is one of the best I have ever tasted."“

“The food and atmosphere was very good , and there is parking right in front of the restaurant. The woman working there is very helpful, hardworking , and pleasant. The meat portion was very small however, and so lunch felt like it mostly consisted of rice and beans.“

“Great casual food, including pernil (slow-roasted pork) available daily, along with great hot buffet choices, hearty sandwiches and fresh salads. The jalapeño salad goes great with the pernil or on a sandwich, and the avocado salad is fantastic.“

“We had just come from my uncle burial at Woodlawn cemetery. My cousins and I had not eaten anything, and we were hungry. We google the closest latin restaurant and we found this location. They had food in a buffet style behind the counter. They had different type of soup. All kinds of meats and rices which meant the food will be served quickly. The food was delicious and low in sodium. The only thing that surprised me was that they didn't have red onion in the sauce, which is common for the green banana, no avocado, and no alcoholic beverages. Again, the food is the star.“

“Parking: It’s in the back there are a few spots you have to turn way before the restaurant back on Martin Luther blvd then follow the little street back and around to the back of the restaurant. It’s the last parking lot before you see the Ritz.“
