“I had a construction project in the neighborhood so i decided to try some Dominican food. I chose the right place; food was delicious. Even the girls didn't speak much English but they try their best to communicate with me.
Bathroom was extremely CLEAN !
I recommend this place to eat your lunch.

“this place has been open since i was a kid, and as I've grown, it faded off and on of my radar, but when i went back today, i fell in love with it all over again. the waiters and staff are friendly and polite, and all of the food is so fresh and well prepared. i will say the tostones did need some salt, but other than that, im glad i rediscovered this childhood fav of mine ☺️“

“My first time I ate from gustito was was Sunday January 6th about 3 days after it opened. I had a sandwich called “ Riky” it was amazing . Although I’m from the Dominican Republic I never had it. Today Sunday January 13th I ordered a shrimp mofongo , Salmon and chicharrones de pollos, all a hit. Gustito will definitively be a favorite Restaurant in sleepy hallow . Best of luck to the chef Ramon Rodriguez owner and Lourdes Rodriguez.“

“Ordered the family meal with bistec encebollado which my family loved, the white rice could have been better, there was a staple on the bottom of the rice, I am to assume they were grappling and one flew to the tin, not a big deal the family loved the food.
I ordered a mofongo de cerdo, it was not the best; the pork had rib pieces (which I have never had pork like this with mofongo) and the meat was
burnt beyond being edible, I wish the mofongo was more garlicky, the sauce was yummy but again the burnt pieces of pork was somewhat disappointing. If you are a monfingo enthusiast, please do not get your hopes up.
I ordered for delivery.“

“Brand new place, didn’t even have the menu up yet when I walked in. I found it while driving through sleepy hollow during my work day and wanted to grab something to go with my lunch. Empanadas were on point! crisp, not greasy and a real treat. Food and owners were cool guys, definitely will return to check out the menu.“

“The Parrot Restaurant in Yonkers is one of the best Spanish restaurants in the area. They offer amazing family meals at unbelievable prices. Unlike others, their food is incredibly fresh. For example, even the white rice tastes like it was made the same day. The beans are very well-seasoned, and when you order the bean stew, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find carrots and potatoes—ingredients often overlooked at many Spanish restaurants.
Their empanadas are made to order, meaning they don't sit under a heat lamp; they are freshly prepared when you order them. The freshness and quality of their food are truly unmatched. Additionally, the variety of dishes they offer ensures that there is something for everyone, whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian.
All in all, this is definitely a go-to spot for good quality food at great prices. Last but not least, the staff is wonderful, including the guys who do the deliveries. They are always friendly, prompt, and ensure that your food arrives hot and fresh. I wish them all the best and will definitely make this my regular place for Spanish food at least a few times a month.“

“I recommend the pork feet stew that’s the dish I like here. The mother and daughter duo I think they are the owners are very nice especially the daughter. The only thing I dislike is when I get a salty portion of the dish and I don’t expect it I end up not eating cause I get diarrhea when it’s too salty. So I hope and pray when I stop by they have them pork feet stew. The pork feet stew is perfectly seasoned. I don’t know why I like it a lot. It has cilantros and taste great with plain white rice and I ask for extra gravy. For a small plate $6, medium $10 and large $12. The price is very fair and good Dominican food.“

“Yala is such a kind and friendly person, plus her food is delicious. I called to specify that I wanted a dompling because the app did not give me the option to choose the dompling. She took the call and it was a pleasure to speak with such a kind, attentive and pleasant person. Thanks yala. 10/10“

“I have been at least 5 times. I love eatting rice, salad, beans, and plantains. I have only had the buffet. The food is good and they arrange it nice on a plate and bring it to your table. Many of the employees don't speak English, but we both try really hard and end up at the right place. My boyfriend says "i don't know what they do to the pork, but it is one of the best I have ever tasted."“

“When I Entered This Place My First Impression Was Enough for me to know that they would give 100% so that I, as well as any client who arrives, would leave Formidably Satisfied. When it comes to businesses with this type of concept, I could say that this is the cleanest I have ever visited in my life, everything impeccable. The atmosphere is super pleasant, music at an appropriate volume for the place. No matter how difficult your day was, if you come here you will have an experience so good that you will leave the place happy. As for the food, ufff, The Best Quipes in NY are here, some delicious croquettes, and the Yaroa Delicious. It has a very extensive menu and a lot of variety to choose from. I come back soon and often.“

“I come here often. It's an absolutely great spot for authentic Dominican cusine. Food can be prepared to order or you could choose from a huge variety of roasted, grilled or stewed meats. They have 2 or 3 types of rice, beans, soups and salads all laid out in buffet style but it's served to you (to stay or to go)
I usually stop by for breakfast when I want a tres golpes or a nice hot Avena (drinkable oatmeal)
Often enough, you'll find Emilio there working along with his staff. This place is a staple in the Castle Hill area. For nearly a decade with frequent visits, I've never had a meal I wasn't absolutely satisfied with.“

“First time trying their breakfast dishes here and I ordered mashed plantain called mangu with pickled onions, chicharron/fried pork and fried mozzarella cheese. I also tried the fruit orange drink with milk forgot the names. Will come back to try their lunch options. Only thing I hate about going here is the difficulty finding a parking spot. Not easy lol“
