“Hands down the best tacos I’ve had all year!
Tecas Tacos is a food truck parked right outside Flower Park in New Rochelle, and it is absolutely worth the trip. I tried the beef tongue taco for the first time, and it blew me away. Slow cooked for six hours, it was unbelievably tender and flavorful, topped with fresh onions and salsa verde.
I also had the quesabirria (birria quesadillas), which came with a rich consomé for dipping, insanely good. The al pastor taco had that perfect pineapple pork combo, and the steak and birria tacos were on point too.
Everything was bursting with flavor, and I washed it all down with a cold Mexican Coca-Cola in a glass bottle, the perfect touch. If you’re a taco lover or just someone who appreciates authentic, high-quality street food, this truck is a MUST.

“If you’re looking for an amazing Puerto Rican meal, this is the place to go! The alcapurrias were out of this world! And if you know what good alcapurrias taste like then this is the place to go! The lobster and shrimp mofongo was PHENOMENAL and the spicy crab tostones, Asian fusion, CHEFS KISS! The chipotle mac and cheese was such a delicious start to my meal! Overall, everything was a hit! BEST PUERTO RICAN FOOD I’ve had since I visited Puerto Rico ❤️“

“Great food. Decent price. Very nice and helpful staff. Made me feel at home when I went in to order food for my daughter's birthday meal. Two of us had Birria tacos and one of us had a veggie burrito. We all enjoyed our food.
Vegetarian options: My daughter had the veggie burrito. She is a picky eater but she loved it.
Parking: Found a couple of empty spots on the street. It was around 5 pm during the week.“

“Only drove 75 miles and it was worth it, we milled the food in the car, it was just like home, thank you so much for bringing back all the memories of take outs on a Friday night from Walkinstown or Clondalkin, a long way from home, we ordered 2, 3 in 1 trays and extra curry sauce and prawn crackers and chicken balls and spicebag chicken balls and 2 cans of rock shandy, portion sizes is big, and the food is amazing. Run don’t walk here, food porn as in the pic below.“

“Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had!
I found this restaurant through a TikTok video that mentioned they serve barbacoa de chivo (tender goat meat) on weekends—so I decided to take my dad here for Father’s Day. We ordered the birria tacos with handmade tortillas, and let me tell you… those tortillas are a 10/10—absolutely worth it!
My dad got the ribeye, and he gave it a solid 10/10 as well. Of course, we came for the barbacoa, and it did not disappoint. Words can’t describe how good it was tender, flavorful, and unforgettable.
The drinks were also amazing. My mom loved the tamarind, and I personally went for the Jamaica. Both perfectly refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness to complement the food.
To top it all off, we had the homemade flan and churros absolutely delicious.
But what really made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Shoutout to Alex and Paulina for taking the time to explain the menu and make sure everything was perfect from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Their hospitality was top-tier.
This is a family-owned Mexican restaurant that I would 100% recommend to anyone in the area—or even if you have to make a little trip. It’s so worth it! 🙌🏼🌮🇲🇽“

“I order the Diabetes juice, am anemic and I was looking for a place with healthy options, I've been drinking the juice for the past 3 days and today I went to the doctors and they were able to draw blood in the first try!! Huge success for me!! I also order their sandwiches they are very good the bacon was amazing crunchy, if am hungry and am doing uber eats I order from here, is way better than junk food, this food makes me feel clean inside when I need food but I don't have time to cook or am at work and forgot my lunch. “Great preshow Tex-mex with Grateful Dead themed decor, but decidedly un-Grateful Dead music playing rather loudly. Fish tacos were delicious, and my son enjoyed his giant burrito. Diagonally across the street from Capitol Theater/Garcia’s on Port Chester, so couldn’t be more convenient. Quick, friendly service, but very basic menu. I’m not a drinker, but I saw lots of beer snd Margaritas being served and enjoyed. While I can’t say it’s worth a trip ?, it is definitely an excellent go to if you want a reasonably priced, very good, preshow meal. I’d add half a star IF the music matched the decor.“

“I order from this place frequently on seamless when I can’t be bothered to make dinner. The food is decent quality , you get what you ordered, and tends to come with salad or fruit which is fresh and good. I can’t speak to the restaurant location itself as we only get takeout , but unlike other takeout from around white plains, Ams Cafe is dependable and good for a solid meal.“
