“Went to Reinvention for a couple of drinks a couple of hours before closing. I'm not usually a beer person, but they have a couple of ciders on the menu if you, like me, prefer an alternative. I wish I had written down the cider that they were pouring when I went, it was excellent!! Service was great. It was very quiet when I went, so my date and I were easily able to have a conversation even with the tv on at the bar. Everything was very clean. We ended up staying a little past closing, the bartender let us hang out while she was closing up. Really appreciated that since it let us finish our last drink without rushing. Overall - this is an easy place to spend a few hours. There's plenty of seating. I'd certainly be interested to see the atmosphere at a slightly busier time, maybe one of the nights they have live music. J noticed a sign on our way out that mentioned music the night before, bummed we missed it.“

“What a find the North Star Cafe was! We were served a lovely, perfect cortado and hot chocolate customized to "kid temperature" for sensitive little mouths. We also ate what may be the best blueberry muffins I have had in my life, and I am a senior citizen! Best of all were the personable, genuinely kindly proprietors. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough.“

“Had a small little high school reunion there recently. Great spot. Great ice cream and shakes. Lots of cool options that you don't see at other Ice Cream joints. Owner is very pleasant as well. Definitely check this place out next time you're in the area and need some Frozen treats.“

“Simply Crepes in Canandaigua was outstanding! I ordered shrimp and grits and asked for the shrimp to be substituted for chicken, which was welcomed by the chef. The service was amazing and the chicken was divine! If you're in the area or not, this is a must try restaurant!“

“The Dalai Java is a GREAT place to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee, it’s so relaxing inside and has beautiful decor. Personally I really enjoy the nutella frappe and their breakfast sandwich, it’s my go-to everytime I’m there. The service is amazing, everyone is so nice and makes sure you get your order fairly quickly even when busy. I totally recommend Dalai Java!!“

“I went for a paint and sip party. The decor and atmosphere is excellent! I went early and ordered food. I ordered the Burria burrito had hardly no meat in it was primarily rice, had no flavor whatsoever and it was not hot temperature wise at all the only thing heated was the wrap itself not the rice or what little meat was in it in fact the meat had white fat that you could tell the meat was cold and not heated up. For $17 I could have went somewhere else and had a hot meal and more food it was not very big portion wise either maybe 8 chips on the side of it. The man the pick up counter for the food was rude also. He barked at me to put the buzzer in the basket. The drink I had was a strawberry passion fruit mocktail and it was amazing. The two bartenders were both very nice. I would go back for drinks. The food is a no go for me.“

“First time trying this place & it won't be our last! Absolutely delicious! We decided to share the Hart Attack plate since it had a little bit of everything on it and it was more than enough for 2 people! The pulled brisket was the best brisket we've had in the area! All of the meat was perfectly seasoned and smoked! The coleslaw & fried salt potatoes were absolutely delicious! The restaurant is small, but very clean & very friendly staff. The prices are on the higher end, but you get what you pay for! HIgh quality food and ingredients! We are so happy to finally find a good BBQ place in the area! We drove from Canandaigua & it was well worth the drive! Highly recommend Black Hart BBQ! We are already planning a return visit!“

“First time at this brew pub. It's right near the lake and adjacent to where the Canandaigua Lady tour boat sails from. Large selection of their own brews. Also, some featured cocktails. I had a flight and we both had the beef on weck, which was outstanding. This is actually one of 4 locations. Lots of outdoor seating (it was raining during our fall visit). Two floors of indoor seating. We were looking for something to do on a rainy day, and the 20 mile drive was worth it.“
