“We had a really great experience here. We ordered a steak torta, steak tacos, birria tacos, jamaica, and horchata. The jamaica was very refreshing and the horchata was sweet and delicious. The steak was tender and well seasoned and the torta ingredients all tasted very fresh. The server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is great, the place is very clean and nicely decorated, and we enjoyed listening to music by various Mexican artists throughout our meal. We will definitely be making Sivar Food Mexican Grill our go-to local Mexican spot!“

My wife and I got a their guac and chips an Al Pastor burrito and a grilled chicken platter. We kept saying with everything...wow super fresh. Everything was ultra surprisingly fresh and delicious. Perfect portions, delicious flavors not overly seasoned.

“I have no real complaints. Our first server I guess went home early but the Host with curly hair and light eyes and the tall gentleman made sure everything was very well taken care of.. The viral Soft Serve Mango/ Strawberry margarita was on point and so was the guac... Happy Cinco De Mayo..“

“I usually come here after dancing with some friends who happen to be Mexican, and they enjoyed it as much as I do. It's a solid choice for a fast food stop. They're open until 3am, at least on weekends, and the staff always maintains a pleasant attitude and provides cordial service. If you're in the area, hungry, and want something quick, tasty, and reasonably priced, I'd recommend this place.“

“❤ My husband and I love Curbside in South Hempstead. Their crunchwraps are big enough to share. Our favorite is the Cowboy Crunchwrap with extra sauteed onions. I could eat only this for the rest of my life, provided, of course, we have sour cream!“

“I’ve ordered delivery from them twice now & both times those carne asada tacos were chefs kiss! 💋 they fill those tacos up (and double layer tortillas too) and add this delicious guacamole sauce/salsa… 10/10 and will be ordering more. $4.50 per taco is worth it here, period. “One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.
After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.
However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.“

“I visited with my wife and the service was quick and great, Anastasia patiently answered all of our questions! We got food off of their Vegan Menu which featured staples like Cauliflower and Tofu. I personally enjoyed the Caulifower coated and fried over loaded Nachos. Perfect meal for a late night of fun, thanks so much 🙏🏾“

They treat you with respect and dignity. When you order triple chicken, they give you triple. They do not scrimp.
This is the only Mexican chain restaurant that I will go to. The other one's portions are disrespectfully small.

“What seems to be a nondescript takeout joint located in a strip plaza belies a charming, homestyle spot with flavorful food made with care. Guacamole with fresh chips was so fresh with the just the right amount of onions, tomatoes, salt and lime. Beef flautas, as simple of a dish as they are, were some of the best I’ve tasted. Finally, the Pancita soup hit the spot - warm, spicy and velvety. On top of the food, the waitress was so friendly and welcoming. Top tier recommendation for great Mexican food. Tables are limited (I think about 5). If they had a liquor license, this would be an A+ spot.“

I recently tried Bang Bang Burrito in Manhasset for the first time, and it’s a hidden gem for anyone who loves fresh, high-quality Mexican food. This family-owned spot operates in a Chipotle-style format but with noticeably fresher ingredients and a more personal touch.
The tacos and quesadilla were all spot-on, packed with flavor and made with care. The chips and salsa verde were another standout—crispy, fresh, and perfectly paired with the bright, tangy salsa. You can really tell they prioritize quality here.
The only small tweak I’d suggest is adding a bit more seasoning to the meats to bring out even more depth in the flavors. But overall, Bang Bang Burrito is an excellent choice for a quick yet satisfying Mexican meal in Manhasset. I’ll definitely be back!“
