New American Restaurants in Medina, NY

“Went to Harvest to celebrate 2 family birthdays. Had heard good things about this restaurant and wanted to experience it for ourselves. Location was good - half family coming from Buffalo and half from Rochester. The server greeted us immediately and took o ur drink order. The menu was in the process of changing so not all entrees and appetizers were available., but they did have some substitutions which the server apologized for. The ambience of the restaurant was great. The focaccia was excellentserved with butter or EVOO and balsamic. The pasta dishes were excellent and the portion size was good for all the ladies (men may have been left hungry). All entrees were a la carte. The guys ordered the monkfish special which tasted delicious but the portion was extremely small ( think 2 scallop size pieces of fish - about 4 oz). The guys did get the potoatoes as a side which helped to fill them up. We had 3 desserts for the table- the opera cake, sponge candy cheesecake and vanilla gelato which were all excellent.“
