“My family and I frequent the Pub and we always have a great experience. Last night was no exception (other than the completely oblivious Tesla owner who's alarm kept going off every 5 minutes obviously outside of anyone's control 🤣) I'd like to spotlight one of your incredible employees. I'm so upset I can't remember their name, as they've served us before and are always so wonderful. Curly blonde hair, kind and radiates curiosity and humility. My husband and I were watching the fireworks on the patio while our kids played over by the tree. A child similar in age to my kids approached them for help as they were lost and had no phone. The kids brought them over to the Patio. Without hesitation our server overheard the situation and jumped in offering their phone so they could call their parent/guardian. After overhearing an intense conversation with the child and their father, this server sensed their distress and offered to walk with them to the intersection where their parent told them to go. I walked in to the restaurant a bit later to use the restroom and overheard the other staff members concerned and discussing the whereabouts of their team member. Genuine concern and understanding after they learned the situation. The fact that this server felt comfortable enough to just up and help a patron speaks to not only her character, but this establishments leadership shadow and this incredible team. Tonight my children learned a lesson in kindness and humanity through the actions of this server, and my heart is full 💓 Thank you again and keep shining bright y'all!!“

You can get everything including pasta, the wok station, salad, fruit, soup, burgers and fries, sandwiches, desserts, ice cream, fresh bagels and English muffins, and whatever the hot entree's of the day are. Lackmann is always trying to find new and exciting things for students and loves getting feedback. Overall, a fantastic dining hall on campus!“

“Today we had a problem with a takeout order at Flaherty's. The order we picked up was inaccurate. We called and the person who answered said to come back in a few minutes. When we returned we were greeted by the manager who offered his apologies for the mishap and offered to give us a free meal for our inconvenience. In summation: A problem resolved! “We use this hotel each year on our trip to Ohio from Maine. Easy to find from I 90. We were welcomed by Diamond at reception in a professional and friendly manner which was nice after a long drive. The rooms are clean and tidy, quiet nights rest , breakfast is always good and we were on our way again.Will. be using this hotel again ! Again a big Thank You to Diamond, definitely an asset to the hotel.“

I wish I lived closer because I’d eat my way through the menu and The Old Stone Tavern would be a regular spot. If you’re a local that hasn’t discovered this gem, run, don’t walk. “First time trying the Erie Grill! We loved it! The food was excellent & ambience was perfect for a nice quiet date night! Our table over looked the canal & we saw the sunset! Our server, Hannah was fantastic! Friendly & very accommodating. She switched out my husband's mixed vegetables to Brussels sprouts when we told her he loved them! We each had a couple of drinks & talked after dinner. Never felt rushed! We WILL be back soon!“

There are some booths in the dining area that are somewhat private, and tables with white table cloths that feel elegant but not overly fancy. Or, one can choose to sit at a table in the bar area. Tonight we chose to dine at the cozy bar. There are black board specials but honestly, the regular menu is diverse and with plenty to choose from. Today I had panko breaded chicken Romano with mozzarella and tomato sauce over penne and it was wonderful. Everything is good there. You leave feeling comfortably pampered after having had a unique and special dining experience.“

“Ate there last night. Service was good. Manager Julie super friendly and welcoming. 3 of us had fish fries, 2 battered, 1 breaded. Large portions but a bit overcooked. Coleslaw portion small though. Broccoli with garlic butter had a topping that was a bit salty until I mixed it up. Delicious. Super attentive waitress. Never had to ask for a refill of ice tea she'd bring it upon noticing it was getting low. Wedge salad ginormous!! Almost entire head of lettuce!! Friendly staff and good service. Definitely going back for a 2nd try on the fish.“
