“We visited this week on a whim and Meli Modern did not disappoint. My husband loved the lamb chops and I had the octopus which came sliced and was delicious. The lamb and feta ravioli were different in all the best ways. There is also a white cosmo on the drink menu that I highly recommend. We will definitely return.“

“Love this place!! The employees are always so friendly and helpful! The food is EXCELLENT as always, and I'm obsessed with the Buffin muffins ($~6) and overnight oats ($~9), although the latter are a bit too pricey. My favs are the Welcome to the Sno buffin (which tastes like those viral pink squishy chocolate snowball pastries and are good even when frozen, also has a cream filling) and the Fitella overnight oats (very filling). Cash register has some excellent protein bar recommendations next to it, I always grab one. The meals are always good no matter what I get, and they are priced around $11-12. My favorite is the Soho Steakbowl, which comes with marinated steak strips and sweet potato fries, and is $12. I miss the Egg White Muffins, they need to bring them back!!! Same with the Tres Leches buffin!! Whenever I come here I grab 10 meals for a discount, and they last me a work week.“

updating my review because I posted before I had actually tried the food. It's really good. I got the chicken gyro pita and my wife got the vegan Impossible burger. My gyro tasted really good and healthy. Not overly oily and had the right amount of salt.

The menu has a choice of Bowls and wraps with fresh ingredients and pita in the side.
The food here was tasty, plentiful and unlimited fountain drinks. Prices were very reasonable, the ordering process is set up like many casual ordering restaurants. Pick your proteins, toppings etc.

“Really nice spot to satisfy a seafood craving! Everything felt very clean and tasted good. I’m personally not a big fan of “chaotic” dishes, so I really enjoyed how simple yet delicious everything was. I usually take pictures, but I forgot to take picture of any of the dishes i ate here because it was gone so quick.

Definitely recommend the scallops and octopus for appetizers and loved the orata and lobster roll for mains. My partner said he really enjoyed the burger as well!

Customer service was also excellent, from the time we came into the time we left everyone was extremely considerate and friendly.

I even forgot one of my takeout bags and the nice hostess/waitress ran out to give it to me! Lovely place and I’ll definitely be back.“

Yesterday, late at night we were looking for options for dinner and wanted a break from regular bowl meals we takeout. I had seen this place many a times while passing by and read reviews on google. I don’t know why I took so long to visit it. I absolutely loved the flavors, took a Zeus bowl and chicken skewers. It was nicely seasoned and most importantly cooked well. Owners are friendly. “Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.“

“As a pescatarian, I appreciate restaurants that offer a variety of options outside of meat. I decided to try the falafel fritter wrap, but looking back, I probably should've gone with the zucchini option instead. I'm not the biggest fan of falafel to begin with, so that's more on me than the restaurant.

The fries were really good, and my order was ready pretty quickly, which I appreciated. I also liked the variety of sauces they offer, giving you different ways to enjoy your meal. Overall, a good experience, and I'd definitely come back to try something else on the menu!“

The service was phenomenal as was the foo, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered the Agean special. The watermelon salad was one of my favorites! After the meal, they brought us two beautifully prepared desserts. And then before we left, the manager spent time talking to us and getting to know us on a more personal level. “Shah’s Halal Food never disappoints! I normally stop here to grab a bite whenever I’m visiting the nearby Walmart, and it has become one of my go-to spots in the area.

This time I had the combo over rice with chicken and lamb, and it was delicious. The portion was generous, the meat was flavorful, and everything came together perfectly with the toppings, white sauce, and hot sauce. It’s definitely a filling meal for the price.

The restaurant is clean, service is usually quick, and the staff has always been friendly during my visits. If you’re in the Farmingdale area and looking for a good halal meal, this location is definitely worth checking out.“

“I went to check out the new location in Levittown after they closed their spot in Mineola. The new place looks great—clean, spacious, and welcoming.

I ordered my food to go, and it was ready by the time I got there. Everything was hot, freshly made, and delicious. I got the chicken souvlaki with grilled veggies, and it came with a small Greek salad. The portions are generous, and you definitely get your money’s worth.

The lamb gyro was also really good—tender, well-seasoned, and stuffed with meat. They definitely don’t skimp. The staff was super friendly, service was quick, and pickup was easy. Definitely worth the trip.“

“We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.“

“Hands down one of the best Gyros I have had. For sure the best in Nassau! I have tried a lot of different places, throughout the county, Abe’s definitely is the best, they stuff it with meat, just the right amount of toppings and sauce. Give it 10/10 for me highly recommend!“
