“My boyfriend & I came on Friday for dinner. The staff was very friendly and nice. We ordered appetizers and the drunken noodles and pad see wa. Delicious. We also ordered the shimp rice. They were cooked to our requested spice. We also brought our own wine with no issues and a very small cork fee. The experience was great. I'll come back.

“The food was excellent as was the table service. Due to a snaf, I ended up paying for the meal with a credit card, but didn't get a receipt.

The interior of the restaurant was modern and neat, but the music played was modern day versions of songs from the 60s to the 90s, which detracted from the atmosphere of the restaurant. I was expecting something a bit more suggestive of Thai culture.

The parking lot is behind the restaurant. Although there is a back door, it was blocked by a bucket and mop. We had to walk around to the front of the building to enter. If there had been an emergency the bucket and mop would have been a hazard for people needing to exit out the back door.“

“Pavirin has become the favorite Thai restaurant for my family. We love the Tom Kha (coconut soup), and their stir-fried dishes have a wonderful “wok hay” to them.

The restaurant is pretty small, but it seems most of their business is take-out, so we’ve never had a problem getting a table.“

“I normally order only mango sticky rice from this restaurant but today I decided to try an actual meal. I was in the mood for some beef so I ordered the beef salad and some tom yam noodle soup with shrimp. Let me tell you The beef salad was so good, it was very refreshing and delicious. I would’ve loved just a little bit of spice in it but otherwise it was a 10 in my opinion. The Tom yam noodle soup with shrimp was so delightful. The broth was so savory and light, the add of the bok choy and enoki mushrooms were so good. My boyfriend got the lychee juice and the general taksin chicken. Both were very good my only critique is that the chicken didn’t come with rice on the side. I’m not sure if it was missing or if it just doesn’t come with it, I think for that meal specifically rice should automatically come with it.
I will definitely order more food from here.“

“One of the best hidden gems in Nassau county. By far, my favorite Thai place on the island. Their lunch special is phenomenal and all their food is tasty and it hits the palette senses just right. “The staff upfront is so nice. She politely answered all my questions and helped me understand the menu. I ordered the coconut smoothie and the coconut mango milk. The coconut smoothie is so light and refreshing for the heat, definitely good for someone who doesn’t like super sugary drinks. The coconut mango milk is so delicious and you get to choose the sweetness. I also ordered the general tsp bento box and it came with a lot of stuff. Good portion sizing I really liked everything I ordered. Also when ordering the food they let you put an allergy which is super accommodating. I will be back.“

“Easily the best in Farmingdale! My wife and I have been coming here for years, tried almost everything on the menu, it's all delicious! Our order is always ready fast, and always correct. When we want a quick and easy weeknight dinner, or we're ordering for a big group, we call here! Our go-to's are the Thai style chicken with green beans and the chicken in garlic sauce, but the classics like General Tso's and spare ribs are amazing here too.“

“Came in with my husband for sesame chicken, dumplings and wonton soup on a chilly Friday night. We dined in and had the soup brought out to us in bowls to share, along with a yummy side salad, followed by the dumplings and then our sesame chicken. Every single item was prepared SO fresh. You can tell everything was just made and delicious. One of the owners (I forgot her name) was so sweet and came over to bring us some dessert to try (which was amazing) and talked to us for a bit. From the minute our phone call was answered and our order taken with patience and professionalism to the moment the driver showed up at our door within minutes of when promised our interactions were met with competence and congeniality. 5 stars.
Now the food; we deliberately ordered our mainstay favorites we are well accustomed to from another, albeit further away favorite but sadly fading spot, to compare. We were genuinely impressed. We Ordered staples of wonton soup, large spareribs, roast pork lo mien, and roast pork fried rice. All were very very good and arrived hot.
We will be ordering again soon and will expand our selections reporting as we do.
