“I moved out of town to Duchess County and I drove down to Mohegan Lake just to go to the Applebee’s. The kitchen manager Will was amazing. He helped with my grandchildren’s specific dietary needs. Our server Anna was so knowledgeable and helpful also. I lived in Cortlandt manor for 25 years and loved going there.“

“My mom and I came here for brunch and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the Mexican Tres Leches Pancakes with home fries and a sweet iced tea, and my mom got the avocado toast. Everything was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly.

it's nice to see that this location is now open 24 hours.

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, even though I didn't catch her name. She made sure we had everything we needed and provided excellent service throughout our meal.

“We used to host a number of events here many years ago, but stopped due to covid. Finally was able to go back for another networking event. I cannot say enough about how great this place is still. Everything was amazing. From the front of the house Staff, waiters and bartenders. I have yet to be disappointed in the food or drinks. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

The food is a classic American Diner but the food, Atmosphere and staff make you feel like your home. Some diners almost rush you out. Here they let you enjoy your food. Take a moment and get a burger or an omelette. You will not be sorry.“

“While I love the restaurant, and look forward to having dinner here at least once a month, I have just one complaint: after-dinner coffee is served without a saucer. Just a cup on the tablecloth. There's something so incomplete about this that it's jarring; once you've stirred the coffee, where to rest the spoon? It can only go straight onto the white tablecloth, leaving a brown stain. So, why on earth put the coffee -- and if it's cappucino, it's a $10.00 cuppa! -- directly onto the tablecloth without the saucer? I know they have saucers, because they serve afternoon tea. I have taken to bringing my own saucer. If this seems petty, order the coffee after your Bear Mountain Inn dinner and try it yourself (avoid the cappucino).

Otherwise, this is a lovely restaurant with gorgeous views across the river to Anthony's Nose, the trains hurrying along the shoreline, the lawn. Dinner -- especially the half chicken -- is usually perfection. Just get a saucer under that coffee cup!“

“My wife and I enjoy going to Bia’s for dinner or a lunch. Simi the owner always comes by to say hello. The staff from either food service or the bar is always professional, pleasant and dressed appropriately for a quality restaurant. The restaurant itself shows know wear and tear, and is always in tip top shape. We as a couple or my wife with friends, try and enjoy this place as frequently as possible.“
