“What a local gem! Okay, it was noisy. it’s a bar style atmosphere, so this isn’t a knock against the place. I have to mention the service. Wow, fast and reliable doesn’t go far enough. The kitchen forgot my bacon. Not a problem, no delay, just quick recovery. This is how mistakes are flipped and guest satisfaction is assured! I had the Point Burger. Cooked to what I asked for, and was tasty. My partner had the wings, and he enjoyed them. We had the potato skins as an appetizer. Again, cooked well. For what The Point is, a local hole in the wall, this place excels! If you find yourself in Montauk, drop by! You too might be pleasantly surprised.“

“Wonderful bar or tavern with some excelled pub grub. I had the scallop sandwich. Delicious. Others in the group had the open tuna sandwich and a pair of hearty looking salads.
I liked it so much that we came back the following day for lunch, but they’re closed on Mondays. In hope to come again one day.“

Otherwise your group risks getting separated by the earlier group - half your group cycling, then the other party cycling, then the other half of your group sitting on containers holding life vests. That was unfortunate.“

Was asked multiple times if all was well and communications with Franklin were great through the planning process and day of wedding. What a fun and festive vibe on the beach for the cocktail hour then dinner in the restaurant overlooking the beach! Bar service was polite, friendly and very helpful. All servers were polite and responsive. The food was fresh, well presented, perfectly seasoned and expertly cooked. Best meal I have had in a very long time! Guests were raving about the seafood appetizers and main meal. I loved the quartered perfectly cooked burger appetizer! A perfect venue for the wedding! Weather highlights its beauty. Fun vibe!“

“I went here because of the Rolling Stones song. Expected a little bar, and it is a club for sure. Of course we were too early for that scene, so we played the jukebox and had the dance floor all to ourselves. Omar was helpful and very friendly. Has a blast even though it's not the same place that Mick and Keith hung out at.“

“So impressed with the service at Salivar’s - we took a chance and our big party rolled in with no reservation on a summer Friday night and Mimi at the front desk was so accommodating, offering us several options without batting an eye. We then were sat at a great table and our server Kelsey (along with several other staff members) juggled our chaos with grace. She was so sweet and totally made our night. Food was also delicious, from seafood specials to chicken and burgers to the kids options - we ordered everything on the menu and no one was disappointed. Thank you Salivar’s!!!“
