“This was our second visit to Sel Rrose - we had the most fantastic meal here on our last visit to Montauk. It will always be on our agenda because we love the vibe! Think "Manhattan meets Montauk." The space is beautiful and summery and draws a cool-looking crowd.

We knew that there were some issues with the food this year, and we could see that the menu was a bit limited, so we stayed at the bar and just ordered appetizers and cocktails. Everything was delicious. We had a great time.

Sel Rrose did not disappoint and we will definitely be back next year!“

“We LOVE it here!!! The food is AMAZING and fresh, the staff are welcoming, and so polite! Tables are spread out and you feel 100% safe. Service is top notch and the owners are the NICEST people. We come out here every Summer and you bet we are here atleast once or twice on vacation. It’s that good! My daughter loves the shrimp and lobster. 🍤🦞“

“I went here because of the Rolling Stones song. Expected a little bar, and it is a club for sure. Of course we were too early for that scene, so we played the jukebox and had the dance floor all to ourselves. Omar was helpful and very friendly. Has a blast even though it's not the same place that Mick and Keith hung out at.“

“First time trying this place....very simple menu...american food...my husband and I ordered the potato skinny for appetizers ( very basic potato skins)Entree ihad a turkey burger..made very well. My husband at the shrimp tacos,which he enjoyed alot. If you are looking very simple laid back place then I would highly recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for more of an elaborate menu with a nice view,this may not be your place. Restaurant was clean,staff very nice.“

“Very nice place right on the beach.
Be sure to request an outside table when you make your reservation.
You'll get your food fast because almost all dishes, except steaks & salads, are made in advance and there is a feeling that they are eager to turn over the table.
The seafood choices are limited and none of them are local.
We had salmon, swordfish, and mussels. Each of which was very good, except for the limp & soggy waffle fries piled on top of the mussels (ask for a loaf of bread).
Also be aware they have mandatory valet parking.“

“We came across this place, and took the first table available. I like that water refills are self served to quench my thirst on a hot summer day! The fish were fresh, service attentive, and the atmosphere upbeat. No frills, excellent food.“

“The atmosphere is seaside casual. An open floor plan exists with a nice bar on one side. It’s airy inside with high ceilings. The food and service is always great. The specials are always a delight. Prices are moderate and fair. Portions are generous.“

“Had the BEST time. Capt. Joe & Joey (mate) were friendly, helpful & tons of fun. LOVED, loved his music selection. We were singing, eating and drinking. I, highly recommend the sunset tour which runs from 6:30-8:30. We stopped at a few local business along the way. The evening ended with the sunset, while listening to Elton John’s “Don’t let the sun go down on me”. If you come to Montauk, I highly recommend the paddle boat.“
