“This new Indian restaurant in Briarcliff is terrific. Each dish has a unique flavor and texture, and is made from scratch with complex layers of spices. All the flavors are lively and sophisticated. The chef serves ip dishes from many different regions in India, which is very educational, as well as delicious. The decor is attractive and charming. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. Our new favorite Indian restaurant in Westchester. Bravo!“

“We had the samosa chat and it was a great starter. Followed by delicious achari mushrooms. Our main dish matter paneer was wonderful and expertly spiced at level medium. The rice and butter naan were as expected. We enjoyed our meal and can’t wait to come back.Dietary restrictions: I am vegetarian, my dining companion was not. We both loved our meals.“

“I work for CertaPro Painters one town over and whenever we have a job in Yorktown I make a point to stop at Himalaya Restaurant. The food is authentic, high quality, and delicious. The portions are generous and you can easily make two meals out of their chicken and rice dishes.“

That's a sign that the food is good.My only issue was that a takeout chicken tikka over rice, one order of samosas and a naan bread was $31. I was a bit taken aback at how expensive they are. Yes I know everything has gone up. But still....“
