“Terrific service!! Excellent meal!! Had the Tempura Shitake Deep Fried Mushrooms with a Sesame Ginger Sauce and entrees were spot on. One complaint was we sat down to the table the glasses were dirty and unpolished water was still poured and served in them anyway.“

“Karen should be known as "The Mayor" of Wadsworth! Her Wadsworth Grill is absolutely the BEST place to meet "new" (and old) good friends, to eat home cooked food, and to experience that "family" feeling!!! Once you stop at The Grill you'll always go back!!!“
“Soup AND Salad WITH Bread, in addition to your meal ... in one word, YUM! Upon entry, we felt like we were stepping into a different dimension and simpler times. Candlelit tables and dim sconces on the walls provided a warm, inviting vibe. Surprisingly, the server who greeted us knew us by name and warmly welcomed us to the National Hotel. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humor. The meal was coursed out perfectly and we enjoyed every bite. Stuffed mushrooms to start were piping hot and flavorful in a ramekin of butter. The hottest thing in Cuylerville was the freshly baked bread-in-a-bag! Perfect to get every morsel of mushroom soup out of our bowls. Usually you have to choose between soup OR salad, not here! We got a fresh greens garden salad following the soup! Our main entrées of steak were perfectly cooked to temp and tasted great with the red wine. The mashed potatoes were fluffy, flavorful and satisfying. Peanut butter and chocolate pie brought our experience to a close. To wrap up the evening, we got to thank the chef and her husband for an amazing dining experience. This is one of a kind gem and we look forward to our next visit. Bring a loved one, go for a special date night or just stop in to treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.“
“The minimum on card purchases reminds me of native gas stations where you can't pump your own gas, but at least at the Idle you don't have to pour your own drink. Pretty strict when it comes to unders so you'll have to get a babysitter. Either way, cheap beers and good times.“

“The best beer selection in town. A must-go for visitors. Great bartenders. Obviously the twisted tavern wings are amazing (undefeated best in the valley), and the mooshu egg rolls are delicious. But if it's Friday, always go for the beer battered fish fry. The side of veggies balances so well and they have perfect cole slaw.Edit to add: also very cool to look up the history of the tavern, originally called Hill's Tavern - amazing to realize people have been walking through that door for over 100 years!“
“Great place for a drink, a game of pool or darts. Just remember, it's a college town and the college kids do go here. It does get pretty packed some nights. Tuesday nights are my favorite, open mic! The locals that come out to sing, can really sing!!!“
“I have never been more impressed with a establishment in my life. This is Geneseo's Hidden Gem. The food is phenomenal, easily the best wings in the area. The Drinks are simply delicious, always seems to have something new to try out and there is something for everybody. if you like whiskey or just want to try something new i would highly recommend stopping in and asking Adam for his recommendation. Adam is the heart and soul of this place and i cannot stress enough just how great he is, so knowledgeable and not just on their FANTASTIC whiskey selection! this is one place that i guarantee you will not be disappointed.“

“This was our 2nd time having dinner here. The steak is absolutely delicious! I had the potato salad that was definitely home made and out of this world, when I told our waitress Nicole how delicious it was she, said she made it. She was a great waitress and very accomodating. I highly suggest eating here, you won't regret it!“
