“I stop here most mornings before work. Their egg sandwichs are some of the best in the area. Their bagels also really good. The staff always smiling and welcoming. I recommend this place to my customers as well when they are looking for a place to eat when waiting.“

“Great Food, Great Service, The Staff is Great, There's Welcoming Atmosphere that is Family Oriented which is what you would expect from a Family Owned Business. They're involved with numerous Charities from coats and toys for the needy, to Cancer Research, for our Men and Women in the Armed Services. They donate to local hospitals events and fundraisers. I've tried Bagel Stores from Miller Place to Stony Brook, from Coram to Port Jeff, including other Strathmore's and by far Strathmore of Mount Sinai has been the best.“

“I have been to Brendels multiple times since they have opened. Let me tell you, I have never been disappointed. I drive 15 minutes to go to Brendels whenever I want breakfast (at least 2x a week) and pass multiple bagel places on the way.

The owners are often present here and are behind the counter working ensuring that service is going smoothly. My food has always been delicious and they have a large variety and great specials. Once you go here, you won't be going anywhere else (at least that is what happened to me).

I believe they are a local family that owns it and that is what brought me in the first time to give them a chance. Now they have me hooked!!

“I've always been going to this location due to its convenience but now that it's under new ownership this year, not only is it better but you get more for your dollar. The prices now are actually better than they were under previous management. Great combinations for breakfast or lunch, many fresh cream cheeses and bagels/flagles. I highly recommend this location. If you cannot find it, go right past the Walgreens if you are heading north on Terry and turn where it says massage envy because it is easy to miss. If you hit Maureen's, you went too far north. It will be on your right.“

“I’ve been getting bagels here since the early 2000s. Their bagels are my favorite, tighter and denser than a lot of other places in the area, which I prefer. Their bagel sandwiches are delicious.Coffee could be stronger and hotter though, and it’s more expensive than the competition. I remember when the bagel sandwiches were like 5+ dollars, now they’re almost 11. I realize everything in the area has gone up, though, so it is what it is.“
