We started with a large order of guacamole that was really good followed by many tacos, two bowls, street corn, a side of beans and a side of fried plantains. “We recently ordered lunch from The Beacon Daily for a group of 20 people attending a special event weekend at Glynwood in Cold Spring, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. Today I had a coconut Kit Kat that was excellent but they also had some vegan/nondairy options that looked tasty. The outdoor area is nice to sit at and dog-friendly. Also appreciate that this is woman and LGBTQ+ owned.“

The Bonsai sushi roll was the highlight with crispy shrimp tempura & avocado inside, topped with delicious variety of spicy crab, salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and whitefish - each bite has a different taste - highly recommend. Beauty Alaska roll was light with salmon inside and topped with salmon roe - this complemented the Bonsai roll very well.“

“Sat at the bar and the service was great. The bartender was friendly and attentive. My food came out pretty quickly and was cooked perfectly. I got the sweet chili wings which were crispy and had good flavor. The beast of burden pizza was delicious as well. I look forward to stopping here again on my next work trip.“
