“Nice location on the Hudson River, good outside seating area, inside seating is good.\n\nWe all got blackened chicken sandwich, it was good, but a little too blackened, very peppery taste, chilotle sauce on top of the peppery flavor was a bit too spicy.\n\nWaitress was wonderful, we were there for over two hours, she was attentive but not pesky.\n\nA bit pricey.”

“This restaurant is exceptional. I had one of the best meals in years. We started with the daikon salad. I then ordered the rainbow trout and my son got the katsu chicken. Everything was SO tasty. We had chocolate ganache for dessert. I highly recommend The Aviary. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“I love the service. The food is ALWAYS delicious. I’m a sucker for their omelettes. I love a good window seat and to write while I’m there. It’s always clean and everyone is friendly and I love watching all the families and regulars come in with their kids or grand parents. The coffee is good. The parking is endless and they have a ramp for anyone needing the use of it. Desserts galore in tall fridge as soon as you walk in — you can always grab that to go after you finish your meal. Large portions. Excellent prices. I love the place!!”

“Hawaii Poke & Ramen is such a great find near Schodack Island State Park. The restaurant is extremely clean, thoughtfully decorated, and has a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
Ordering is easy—you can use the self-service kiosk or order directly with the staff. The food was delicious, and we were especially happy to be able to enjoy fresh poke and ramen while camping nearby.
It’s also very family-friendly: they have high chairs for little ones, plenty of parking, and the overall setup makes for a convenient, comfortable stop. Definitely a great option for a quick meal or a relaxed family dinner.”

“We happened to be traveling in the area and found the diner online. We popped in and we were blown away. The atmosphere was so clean and pleasant. The waitresses were sweet and attentive. The food was delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Even though it's an hour and a half away from us we plan on going there again soon. It's worth the drive!!!”

“OMG, just thinking about the food here makes my mouth water. Today I was blessed enough to have the BBQ quesadilla with a side of fries. I have to say the way the pulled pork, banana peppers and cheese, topped with a wonderful BBQ sauce in a crisp quesadilla blended together in my mouth was blissful. Now, I know what you are thinking with the side of fries, how ordinary, but no, these are nicely seasoned, cooked to perfection french fries and a lot of them. So please don't ruin them with ketchup. I continue to be impressed each time I visit and that alone will keep me coming back. Keep up the great work!!”
