“New City Sushi is a small tradition style Sushi bar/restaurant with an inviting atmosphere and service. A family run establishment with a single sushi chef that shows dedication in the meals he creates. Passing through the area I stopped in and requested an Omakase at the bar and was given a wonderful experience! The multi course Omakase featured some unique dishes such as Chuka Idako, fried Shishamo, Madai, Hotategai, Chutoro, Maine Uni and Chawanmushi. Overall this was a pleasant experience with a good atmosphere and tradition dishes you may not find at your typical sushi restaurant 6.7/10.”

This place is exactly what you hope for when you’re craving real, quality pizza made by people who clearly care about what they’re serving. From the moment you walk in, the place has that classic, comfortable pizza-shop feel—warm, welcoming, and filled with the smell of fresh dough baking.

The food is the star here. The pizza has that perfect balance: a crisp crust with just the right chew, flavorful sauce, and cheese that actually tastes like something—not the bland stuff you get at a lot of places. You can tell they use good ingredients, and everything is prepared with pride. Their slices come out hot, fresh, and full of flavor every single time. We also tried a few other menu items, and everything was just as good as the pizza.

Service is fast, friendly, and genuine. You don’t feel rushed, and you don’t feel ignored—they strike the perfect balance. The staff treats you like you’ve been coming there for years, even if it’s your first time.

The atmosphere is simple but clean and relaxing, making it great for grabbing a slice, eating with family, or picking up a larger order for a gathering.

“good quality is very poor. rice was hard and chewy, meats were dry and overcooked...and it was 12pm. expected fresher and better quality. the veg options did appear and taste fresh. overall, ok once...but would not be a go to again for us Owings Mills, MD location”

“I purchased a personalized gift for my son’s girlfriend who was running in a half marathon. My husband and I couldn’t be there to cheer her on. So we sent a personalized gift down to her with my son. When I asked if it was possible to make it that same day, the owner was beyond helpful. He made sure my pretzel was ready to pick up by the day’s end, recommended great dip choices, and even had a little extra dough left over to include 2 hearts. My son’s girlfriend LOVED her gift!! Thank you to the owners of this wonderful shop…I WILL be back!!”

“We love the unique design of the bakery and the beautiful flowers on the window. My daughter always wants to takes pictures out front. The cake pops are my son’s favorite and mine are the macaroons. “Just finished Sunday Brunch at La Terrazza, and we cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Brett and his crew never disappoint. The food is delicious, the ambiance is amazing and the service is the absolute best! The staff is friendly, attentive and makes us feel like family. “I order pretty frequently from Dom’s in Nanuet since I work nearby. Yesterday, when we got our order to Sloatsburg, there was an omission in the order ( we really should have checked before we left). As always, Dom’s went above and beyond to make this right. They drove my order to Sloatsburg and included several delicious extras! Their catering always makes our events delicious, but yesterday they made it extra delicious. Dom’s has amazing food and even better service.”
