“My husband and I go to Mason’s Marketplace frequently. We have gone for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have never had a meal we did not like. The staff is friendly and very efficient. Service is never anything less than great! Food is exceptional. Tonight I had their pizza (Greek) and it was outstanding. We are never disappointed!!“

“Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried. My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful. I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring. Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.“

“We are extremely happy we chose this venue for our son's and daughter-in-law's Rehearsal Dinner (50 people) and Welcome Drinks (70 people) the night before their wedding. Kathleen, the proprietor, was a pleasure to deal with and was helpful with the planning. The staff was accommodating and delightful; everyone said their food was delicious and enjoyed the festive atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for casual dining and special events!“

I ain't never been inside, but I’ve had the takeout plenty of times. It’s a lil' pricey, but the food’s straight. Just don’t be lazy with your order—if you want it hot, cold, or with extra sauce, say it. Otherwise, you might get some wild surprise that ain't it.

Now, listen, that strawberry shortcake? That joint slaps. I’m not even a dessert guy, but that right there? Fire. If it’s your first time, let ‘em know and they’ll treat you like you’re family.

Overall, I’m giving it 4/5. They hit you with extra sauces, napkins, and utensils like they actually care, which is a rare W.

“We found this brewery on our trip home off of Route 17. It is such a great Brewery! The place is very cool! It has a ton of indoor seating, a large outdoor beer garden, and a game room! My son loved it! The food was really, really good, the pumpkin beer was tasty, and the bartender/owner was welcoming! If we are ever in Middletown again, we will be back! So far Middletown breweries are 2 for 2! Equilibrium is great too!“

“Jesters restaurant and pub is a great place to stop off for a decent dinner, lunch or drink while your kids are going bananas at the Castle Fun Center. Decent food and drinks..theres an ax throwing thing in the bar that looked like a lot of fun but like everything else at this whole establishment, it will cost an arm and a leg.“

“We celebrated my dad's 100th Birthday Party on Friday night at the Venue at Winding Hills with about 45 friends and family. We, and especially my dad, were so impressed with the gorgeous venue itself, the delicious cocktail hour appetizers and dinner, and the marvelous, attentive, smiling staff. We chose a buffet and an open bar all night, and the price was certainly right!!! We were in the inside room, with the bar next door and the atmosphere was festive and chatty, the perfect birthday celebration, and I know for a fact that everyone had a blast. The ingredients are super fresh, the flavors and combinations are expertly put together, and the owner is a true showman who clearly loves the food and sharing it with the community. The danish dog is my favorite, and my husband loves the Italian sausage with onions. Even the basic chili dog is better than average, and his inventive sauces add so much flavor to the dogs that they can’t be replicated anywhere else. The building is small and it’s crowded and dingy and sometimes smoky inside, but we truly feel that it adds to the charm and makes the experience even more unique. “Awesome place with amazing food and atmosphere! So far I've tried the burgers, chicken sandwich, quesadilla, french onion soup, truffle fries and quinoa salad, never had anything I didn't like. Prime Rib special is a must! Outside is newly renovated, added new fencing and picnic tables and lots of outdoor seating. Bar is a lot of fun as well, great drink specials. I find their weekly events like live music and karaoke nights on their Facebook page.

I never pay cash because if I pay cash unless its exact amount I can forget about getting back any coin change. They round it off to the nearest dollar always to their benefit. Apparently the patrons there dont tip very well so they take matters in their own hands....it is called petty larceny....good food though“
