What a hidden gem!
The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and definitely not frozen. The ambience and vibe were on point, with great energy and a live DJ setting the perfect mood. Honestly, anyone saying otherwise must be used to eating caviar or something exotic, because this place is the real deal.

It’s rare to find a spot that nails the food, music, and atmosphere and keeps prices so reasonable. Plus, it’s located right inside a golf course — how this place isn’t packed every night, I have no idea. Highly recommend checking it out before everyone else discovers it!“

“Excellent coffee shop on Long Island, come for the caffeine and stay for the community. We stopped by my mom’s favorite coffee shop mid-afternoon, because the family was trying to kill me with caffeine deprivation. The oat milk latte was carefully made and smooth and easy to drink. The interior is great, for a brief moment in time you are anywhere in the World with roll up garage doors, fooseball and a clean setting for evening entertainment. I’ll be back next time I’m visiting!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. The food is always delicious, the drinks are strong (they definitely don’t skimp on the liquor), and the vibes are always on point. On weekends, they have DJs and sometimes host different events, which makes it even better. It’s one of those spots you can count on for good energy, good music, and a solid meal every time. Definitely a go-to in the Bronx.

I was looking for a good place to go and I think I found the best place in Flushing for a Kentucky boy or anyone looking for friendly place with ice cold beer. I love the atmosphere of this place. Everyone made feel welcome and it was just like my favorite place in Louisville. It was a special night on July 25th, a birthday celebration for a long time patron, with great food (on the house), reduced drink and beer prices and a great band named FOG - Four Old Guys - really great music and musicians. Last, but not least, everything said about Kinszee is 100% true and I met Paddy, the owner, and felt like I already knew him. Great guy! I highly recommend this place.“

We don't go out that often anymore, but it's good to have a local watering hole in the neighborhood when we do.“

We ordered spinach & artichoke dip and boneless wings as starters, which we gladly enjoyed; and Leo's BBQ ribs, the Trojan Chicken, and the Teriyaki skirt steak for the entrees. Each dish was quite delicious, although my sister-in-law found the steak a bit salty for her tastes. The staff were kind and very attentive as well. Personally, the Trojan chicken was my favorite out of the entrees. It came with a side of yellow rice, and the grilled chicken was topped with mushrooms and cheese. I highly recommend it!“
