“I recently visited this place when my brother and I could not get in afew days before. It is a good place with a few options, even though the menu is slightly limited. However, this more of a place to drink than eat. Only problem with this place is that it is only open 5 hours (5pm to 10pm) everyday sonforget about getting brunch or lunch. As a result of that prices are up a little. Overall though, it is a good experience. It is worth the visit.“

The cozy cabin-like atmosphere combined with a sports bar vibe makes it a great spot for large groups. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of beers, which is definitely a plus.We ordered the 20 piece spicy chicken wings, and they were fantastic! The wings had a crispy exterior and a moist and tender interior. The spiciness was packed with flavor, and as we indulged in more wings, the heat really kicked in. It was a delicious and satisfying dish.However, we were disappointed with the crispy chicken bowl. While the sauce was great, there was an excessive amount of it, making the dish overly salty and the chicken soggy. The flavor was mostly dominated by the BBQ sauce, and the more we ate, the less we enjoyed it. I would not recommend this particular dish.On a positive note, they offer free popcorn with Asian savory seasoning, which was a tasty and enjoyable snack.During our visit, they had the basketball all-star game playing on all screens with audio, adding to the lively atmosphere. “The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and warm. It is a bar type restaurant so the back half is the bar with the front being the restaurant portion. The staff were all really nice and very helpful. Overall atmosphere and customer service get a 9.3/10 from me.Starting with the appetizers, we got an order of the barbecue wings ($19.64). The wings were crispy and tender with a really strong barbecue flavor as they use a lot of sauce. If you really enjoy barbecue flavored things, you’ll really enjoy these wings. Personally they were still good but the barbecue was a little overwhelming. Next time I will probably go for the buffalo wings. These wings received a 7/10 from me.The Oaxacan Nachos ($22.74) were really good and the portion size was very generous. Perfect if you’re out with a group of friends to share before the entrees. The nachos had really good cheese and the chicken was very flavorful. Along with the flavors the tortilla chips were multicolored so it was visually pleasing as well. The nachos receive a 9/10 from me.For the entree I had the Cajun Penne Alfredo Pasta with chicken ($24.81). The pasta was perfectly al dente and the Alfredo sauce was very flavorful. The chicken was a bit on the dry side but the sauce was able to make up for it. The pasta was very flavorful and I would definitely get it again. The pasta gets a 9.3/10 from me.“

They even managed to get a game up on the TVs for me, despite not having the right subscription! It’s felt like real old school customer service - something we don’t often get in the city. Just wish there was a little bit of sound deadening, it's always too loud and echoing for my taste, but I am not such a young person. I would suggest giving the place a try, it's is worth it.“
“Came here for some drinks and appetizers. I had an espresso martini that was strong but very delicious and naked wings with Buffalo and bbq sauce on the side. The wings were very tasty and sauces were excellent. We also ordered a fried calamari which was very good as well. The prices are a bit elevated; drinks ranging from $18-$20 per drink and the appetizers $16-$25. Our server was very friendly and attentive to us which was lovely. Their decor is very nice; rustic but with an upscale vibe. I did see that they have happy hours for apps and drinks so I will be retuning to take advantage of this deal.“

“I gotta stop by some day, the food is so good!I've ordered from Mad For Chicken several times now, and am always happy with the food. The chicken is delicious. Crispy, juicy, and saucy. The burgers and bowls are very good, too. The fries are also a big highlight.I often find myself dreading what to order because I don't want to get chicken and miss out on getting a bowl, or getting a burger and missing out on getting chicken, or getting a bowl and miss out on the fries.“
“It’s a kool spot, went for my brother in law’s birthday with some friends and family for just drinks. I had a margarita (my go to is always tequila) and my partner had tequila with grapefruit, and the tequila they used wasn’t top shelf or a good brand - though I will say I also didn’t specify which tequila to use, to their credit. Pretty decent ambiance and variety of English music. You can get a seat at the bar if you go early - we were there around 8pm til about 11pm. Earlier in the evening I will say it was more of an older crowd like late 40s to 50s and up, and then later into the night it was a much younger crowd like 20s. Our group was mostly in our 30’s and my sister in law had picked this bar at random (none of us had ever been there), so it was interesting to see such a wide mix of age extremes lol. Overall a kool place. Has split levels on the first floor and a top floor, so all in all 3 areas to mingle. Good to go for a quick easy drink.“
“My wife has brought Mad for Chicken home from Bayside a few times. I have never been to the restaurant so this review is based off the food only. Even being reheated due to the long drive, it’s really good. The fries are crispy and delicious. The fried dumplings have a lot of flavor. The chicken wings are very crispy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. Always a treat when I know my wife is bringing Mad for Chicken home.“
“Went for a work function. Had drinks and appetizers. Corn beef/cabbage taco, calamari, wings, dip really good. Angel of NY and espresso martini delicious. We sat outside in the tent that was nice with the warm weather. Looking forward to going back.“
