“Chef Jaime catered an outdoor party I hosted this week and she did a fabulous job. Everything from the presentation of the food to the food itself ( delectable) to the passing of wine and dessert to the clean up ( she left my kitchen spotless) was exceptional. My guests could not stop raving about the food for the entire afternoon (and for days afterwards!). She was also very intuitive about what was needed in the moment. And she and her assistant worked completely independently so I was able to enjoy my party. I recommend her most highly.“

“We are full-time wedding photographers who did not have the pleasure of working at the Glen Island Harbour Club until January 2025. Winter weddings can be tough if you are not at an iconic location with extensive interiors conducive to photography meant to maximize the natural and ambient light, but in this case, it was perfect! The bridal suite was stupendous and the guys had a perfect place to get ready, too. All the areas had a lot of daylight considering it was the darkest time of the year and were elegantly furnished. The spaces all complimented the chosen scarlet red and classic tux look. We went outdoors for a bit despite the cold and windy day and loved the views of the water. Everywhere we went the staff was perfect for our couple, their family and friends, and us as vendors. We had scouted the venue beforehand, but we did not realize just how much room we’d have to work with - especially getting ready, taking spectacular shots on the staircase and in the lobby, during the ceremony even with so many guests, and for the reception with a huge dance floor. The food during cocktail hour was absolutely amazing with seemingly limitless options for everyone. The venue staff made sure we had a nice meal as well while checking in on the little things we love such as ensuring we’re set for the entrances and knew the itinerary for the reception. And again, this was our impression during the most difficult time of the year! I cannot imagine how extraordinary the property is during warm seasons, but we hope to find out soon. “Came here for a quick snack and some paletas. We tried the pineapple, and strawberry coconut popsicle. Very creamy (strawberry and coconut) refreshing (pineapple), flavorful and all natural. My daughter also got a mangonada. The mangonada had chunks of mango and cucumber. Delicious. I wanted to try el chicharrón preparado. Must say the portion was big enough to share. Ingredients were fresh, chicharrón was crispy and crunchy. I really enjoyed it. The lady that helped me was nice and I would definitely come back to try more paleta flavors“

“My organization held an event here. Approx 500 people. The venue was spacious, clean, well appointed and well staffed (although they could've used 1 more person at coat check). The food was very good. .and it was served hot! So many catering hall venues serve lukewarm food.“

“Maestro's Catering hall is a hidden diamond in the Bronx. It has valet parking and beautifully decorated catering ballrooms that fit every event. We recently had a reunion and thanks to Bill the owner, Victor the manager and staff it was a superb experience with no flaws. The matradee Yoli..waiters and the bartender were so accommodating and facilitated everything. Honestly, it was not only affordable but worth every dollar. The food was outstanding and every one bent over backwards to meet our goals.

“After reading a few low reviews, I felt the need to post that I have been here many times, and never had any issues with either the service or the food quality. This place is like a mini Zabar's with an Italian focus, not a restaurant. While the grocery selection is limited, I have enjoyed many items from the prepared food section, from turkey, to lasagna, to cooked vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and had a nice flavor. There are also pre-made salads, but I prefer the prepared food choices. I plan to continue to shop here.“

“This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.

Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch“

“Excellent take out home cooked meal style food. I love and buy the salmon piece which is huge and is $8. I also get chicken cutlets for the kids. The cabbage and side items also look good but I just add at home a side and the meal is done. Also the coffee is my favorite in the neighborhood. Muffins melt in my mouth particularly the corn and chocolate chip. They should have more chocolate chip or maybe not bc I would buy and eat it more. There food is great home cooked style for a FAIR price. I’m so glad they are in my neighborhood.“

I highly recommend getting their Sizzlin Sirloin Chipotle Burger - I'm telling you it's one of the best burgers you'll have. It comes with a ton of yucca fries.
