“Love coming here for bubble tea! Some of the best I’ve had in lower Manhattan. Service is quick and friendly too. Only a couple of barstools for seating so it’s more of an in-and-out kind of place. Their drinks tend to be on the sweeter end but if you let them know to make it half sweet then they turn out perfect for me.“

“Overall it was good and I will go back. Food quality and portion was great. Two little outside tables are cute. Nice to have that option on a quieter side street. Service was slow but there was only one server on for the bar, inside tables and outside tables. He did apologize for this. We were in no rush so it was no bother to us anyways.“

“This location is the best JG in the city. I stop by every morning to get a green guardian or professional and it is made to perfection each time. Salvador, the store manager, knows me by name and we chat for a minute when he is able. The staff is always friendly and they are always working diligently to make everyone's order as quickly as possible, I highly recommend this location to anyone in the neighborhood.

It’s the perfect blend of creamy and rich—banana and peanut butter give it that classic smoothie vibe, while the whey protein and almond milk make it super satisfying without feeling heavy. The cacao adds the perfect hint of chocolatey goodness. Great post-workout fuel or even as a meal replacement. Definitely a new favorite!“

long: This is one of the many places I've been a customer of for years and somehow haven't posted a review yet. I have been a customer of this location for nearly five years. There are many acai places in the neighborhood, and they all claim to be fresh, but they all, including this franchise, receive them in frozen containers. Despite that, this is my favorite one. I especially love it paired with peanut butter. I highly recommend this for anyone having an acai craving.“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

“A wide selection of Asai (and other based) bowls. Endless combinations of fruit with added garnishments. Reading the founders story and appreciating the immersive design of the location you can almost feel like you escaped from 2nd avenue off to a warm sunny beach elsewhere. Enjoy surfing the flavors of your bowl, there is no need for sunscreen and you won't need to clean up any sand before you get back home. There is an additional seating space to and a restroom inside. The servings are bigger than your average Asai bowl (may be enough for 2) but the prices are also relatively high.“

He went above and beyond. I highly recommend this location and playa bowl in general. Haven’t been disappointed in any of there smoothies or bowls.“

“Always walk by and finally decided to try. They have a variety of bowls and bases. Outdoor seating and beachy indoor vibes.

I got the coco craze bowl. Coconut base, flax seed granola, coconut flakes, mango, banana, and pineapple. Regular size bowl. I downloaded the app and got 15% off as a first time order, so paid just over $15 with tax and a convenience fee of 50 cents.

Overall it was a great bowl, large enough that it lasted most of my work day. Only con is the coconut base melted pretty fast after I picked it up from the store, so it quickly became a juice with fruits.

The lovely couple that started it and runs it & the next door coffee shop, were inspired to create the place they always wished existed in the city! “Nice spot to grab some boba tea or smoothies. Most of the drinks are phenomenal, and the boba itself is sweet, but not overpowering, and is chewy, but not too chewy, making it perfect to my liking. I also enjoy how I am available to change the sugar and ice content, giving me the ability to tailor it to my liking even further. My only complaints are that the blender is loud, making it hard to communicate and understand the server. Also, the drinks from the “Butterfly Pea” series taste like water after a while. Overall, nice spot.“

“Love Playa Bowls—best açaí bowls hands down!!! They’re hearty and you get a nice size bowl/amount for the price. The options are insane!

My favorite is the power -açaí bowl w/ peanut butter (shown in the picture). My kids love the mucho mango (also in the picture) and the Stupid Cupid (not pictured).

This particular location is a nice size. They have a few tables inside as well as a seating area. There is usually seating outside as well but the entire sidewalk block is under construction at the moment.

I’ve never experienced bad customer service. I’ve dined in, ordered online for pickup, AND I’ve had it delivered before. Always a 10/10!“

“Went in for a smoothie. Was greeted immediately. Asked for recommendations and was told the one the person helping me liked and the one that is the most popular. Smoothie was made quickly and tasted delicious. He even offered to make me another one if I didn’t like the taste of the one he recommended. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Great experience. After two decades of being a loyal patron, I can confidently say that Juice Generation continues to set the gold standard for quality and service. While my last juice of the day wasn’t my favorite (a rare miss in 20 years!), I felt a little hesitant about saying something—but the manager, Adolfo, handled it with such professionalism and kindness that I was reminded why I absolutely love this place. The customer service here is consistently top-tier.

My yogi best friend still fondly remembers the field trip I took her on to Juice Generation—she raves about it to this day. We often daydream about opening a Juice Generation in her new home of Hawaii or in our shared hometown of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. (Trust me, the people there need this in their lives!)

If you haven’t tried Juice Generation yet, consider this your sign. Their smoothies are rich, refreshing, and never slimy like some of the imitators out there. The vegan muffins are absolutely delicious, and the salads? A bright, crisp little pick-me-up that never disappoints.

“I tried the Protein Nutty from Juice Generation in New York, and my experience was amazing! I’m currently on a calorie deficit diet, and this was the perfect breakfast choice. I had it at 10:30 AM and stayed full all the way until 5:30 PM — it’s that satisfying.

The taste was absolutely delicious, and the portion size makes it great value for money. They also have a small dine-in area with seating for 2–3 people, which is a nice touch.
