The food was just as excellent as the service by Ulises after watching Carmen at the Met!
We started with the Parisian Love and the 65 Lincoln drinks, then we had the Hamachi Crudo, Steak Tartare for appetizers and Frenchie Burgers and the Black Sea Bass which were outstanding!
Rounded it all up with the Devil’s Food cake and a Mango Raspberry Tart.
We cannot wait to go back!

Brasserie Boulud is a restaurant near the opera house, very conveniently located for dinner before a performance. The menu is creative and well-executed, with specific praise for the onion soup. Dishes like the Ōra king salmon, Entrecôte, beef tartare, pâté, snails, and the Grapefruit Givré dessert are noted. The wine list is excellent and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with comfortable outdoor seating.
However, experiences vary significantly. Service receives both praise for being efficient, attentive, and accommodating, and sharp criticism for being poor, rude, and unprofessional, with specific complaints about the bar service. The food is called delicious by some, but others find it poor, overpriced, and sometimes too salty, with complaints about very small servings and poor quality items like rubbery bread. The restaurant can be very crowded around performance times. While some guests highly recommend it, others found it extremely disappointing and unpleasant, stating they would not return.
