Choose to dine here per reviews.. Decided on the pasta trio, was not very impressed. I was looking for homemade pasta, two of the three types were not homemade. The atmosphere was nice , I like the team approach to service. Not sure if I would return when visiting NYC
First time dining at Becco. Opted to sit at the bar rather than taking up space solo at a table.Cecil is a gracious bartender. Was looking forward to a Peroni, not one italian beer offered. So i went with a Von Trapp Dunkel Lager from Vermont. Tasty. Cecil told me he worked there for 20 years and theyve never offered even one italian beer.Started off with the Carpaccio!
