My colleagues introduced me to this coffee chain. I thought it was just another coffee chain not realizing the origin is from New Orleans. What makes New Orlean coffee different than your typical Colombian coffee? Who knows, but I have to say it was for sure different. I got their signature NOLA hot ($6). It was naturally sweet somehow, so did not need to add any sugar, where I usually add two packs of brown sugar. Will have to stop by to try the other stuff on the menu.
Came to Blue Bottle Coffee to participate in the "Too Good to Go" program. If you're not aware of it, please download the app, and enjoy its many benefits. Today, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM, I stopped in and Blue Bottle Coffee gave me a bag with "surprise" items that were not sold throughout their early breakfast hours. Not enough space to be seated, nor do they have any restroom/washroom. The junior staff at the counter need more training to learn what they have. For instance, I asked for a gluten-free pastry, and I was told that they had none, but then I spotted one. Coffee is OK and is a small size cup appears smaller than similar coffeeshops.
