Charismatic place, but with very uncomfortable seats and tables!.. Seating too tight. As a customer I felt pressured by the consumption policy in the place. Top music and musicians!
Saw Dave B preform there over 20 years ago. Even had the opportunity to sit and talk with him and his wife in his dressing room. Had a 15 min conversation. What a wonderful memory..

The real, immediately solveable problem with (and actively, constantly occurring at) the Blue Note is the guests who show up because they have nothing better to do.They talk loudly during the concerts.They care not a whit about anyone but themselves.
