“I’ve been coming to Cubby every week for 2 years now and I can hardly find the words for how amazing of a bar it is. Kass, Vick, Marissa, Omar, & the rest of the Cubby team are INCREDIBLE. This is such a haven for the queer/female community here in nyc and I always have an amazing time when I pull up. If you’re looking for a bar to frequent or even just a one off good night, this is the place for you. The music? Immaculate. The drinks are so good every damn time. & to top it all off the community is just one of a kind and so welcoming. I’ve made so many friends here and couldn’t be more grateful for the community Cubbyhole provides us. Here’s to another 30 years of Cubs!!🩶💋“

“On a trip from Scotland with my best friend. The two of us had the best night. Queen Petti Cash was incredible! The staff were so friendly- from the bar staff charging our phones to the security guard making sure that we got into a taxi okay. The vibe was amazing, so lively even for a Wednesday night! Can’t wait for our next trip to NYC as we will back to visit our friends at Barracuda Lounge. Thanks again for such a great night!“

“I LOVE CLUB CUMMING. Colt and Nick were the kindest bar tenders, and even gave my boyfriend and I free, home made cookies! I was nervous on the way to the club because I can be socially anxious, but my boyfriend and I had the best time ever. I can’t wait to come back during an event! And to maybe meet Alan!“

“My husband & discovered Uncle Charlie’s a few years ago on a trip & now it’s a must for us every time we visit NYC. We like that it’s less touristy & more of a local hangout than some of the other piano bars in town. The bartenders & local regulars are friendly, the drinks reasonably priced & we have always felt very welcome included as visitors.“

“This is my favorite bar to watch amazing drag shows! I think they have the best drag shows and performers in NYC. I also love that the shows would have dance breaks in between and turns into a dance floor after the show. “The crowds are good and the drinks are just OK. But the bar is dirty, and it's overcrowded, looking like a fire trap waiting to happen. Clean your disgusting bathroom more. I can only speak for the men's room, but the women's room probably is just as bad. I give it 1 star.“

“IMO the best gay bar in the East Village. Great dim-lit atmosphere with colorful lights, groovy music with frequent themed DJ nights, friendly bartenders Patrick and Valentino, pool table, and always an interesting crowd. East village locals, NYU kids, old, young. It’s one of those special NYC places where everybody comes together.“

“Came here on Sunday for the drag show brunch! The food was phenomenal- my favorite was the French dip and fries!

All the portions were large and very filling. The drag show brunch is every other Sunday & is such a fun time. Definitely recommend checking out, the music is fun & the performance was great!!“

“I keep coming back here , it's a fun place , I do love the live piano and singing and usually they are very very good. Seems like alot of the Broadway stars stop by and just belts out some tunes.. Saturday night on the below gets a bit Grimmy with all the gogo boys , as they are very aggressive, but once your ignore you will be fine. The drinks are made strong and nice , and music is fantastic, definitely will be back and highly recommended to check out if you are visiting .“
