I used to love Gyu Kaku. This was my first experience at this location. The service was so so. They came over only when we asked them to. The food was okay, but not worth the price. The miso soup was served cold. The meats drenched in sauce were tasty, but mostly fat. The alcoholic beverages were TERRIBLE. Don’t bother ordering one. They are 90% ice 8% water and 2% booze. Definitely not worth the price.

We had the Yakiniku party. We had one extra person who also didn't eat meat so we also added additional vegetables and an extra smore for them. The appetizers were quite good. Salads were very good well portioned as were the garlic noodles. The meats were very fresh. Our favorites were any meat that were marinated as they were the most tasty. They do provide dipping sauce.
