my boyfriend and I just had a great experience at The Shell! we are locals and live one block away - we finally made it over and were very impressed with the quality of food and service. the staff was so warm and gentle. the food is prepared well, specifically the octopus - it was cooked to perfection. Please visit this neighborhood gem. If it had a more popular happy hour, it could have the appeal of the former mermaid inn.
The Shell is my go to in the neighborhood. Always good, always pleasant. The owner and staff are wonderful and always make me feel welcome
