About Le Pain Quotidien

Le Pain Quotidien is a restaurant that offers a tasty breakfast and lunch, with specific mentions of their Avocado Toast and banana pancakes for breakfast, and a sourdough round and pear tart for lunch. The coffee, particularly the American coffee and espresso, is noted to be good. The restaurant has a noisy atmosphere, which is attributed to its NYC location. It is described as a fancier version of Panera, with better food and a more relaxed ambiance after the lunch rush. Service can get overwhelmed during busy times, but it improves after 1:45 pm. The restaurant has plenty of seating and offers catering services. Le Pain Quotidien is priced slightly higher than nearby options, but it is considered worth it for the quality. Customers have had excellent service from the staff, who are friendly and accommodating. Many have enjoyed quick service even during busy hours, and the menu options are praised. Former customers have fond memories of visiting the restaurant over 20 years ago with their children.

Baked it looked good but table service was slow and my sandwich was lukewarm. My companion's baked egg was appropriate temperature and she enjoyed it.
Staff here are always so friendly. Morning service is super quick. I recommend the morning grab and go for coffee and a pastry. The plain croissants are 10/10.

Stayed at Times Square and wanted some healthy food for brunch. This pain de quotedien had the highest reviews of all in the area. So we trekked the half mile over here.

Coffee was served in this nice ceramic pot. Oat milk was in a little server. Coffee was good.

I had the steel cut oatmeal with walnuts, bananas and maple syrup. Was very tasty. Would definitely get that again.

My wife had the lentil soup, avocado 🥑 toast and the quinoa arugula...read full review
