The Seaweed salad was great!The vegetable udon tasted exactly the same as in Japan. The noodles were thick and yummy as well.We didn’t try the sushi, so no feedback on that. It was a good experience, although the menu in general is a bit on the pricier side.
After chilling at The High Line, my stomach was rumbling so I decided to check out the Gansevoort Market (this was actually my first time here)! I did a walkthrough of the food court and I ended up at Makito. I was going to order a bowl of ramen but it was hella hot outside so I ordered the Crunch Roll minus avocado because I am allergic to it. Good quality omakase, with some creative twists to classic combinations. I especially enjoyed the smoked mackerel appetizer. Ambience is nice and the chefs are cheerful and concerned with your happiness. Service was great, and the owner is super sweet and sincere.
