We happened upon this sweet little cafe and decided to stop in for lunch and to get out of the cold. Had the half soup and sandwich - clam chowder soup and chicken salad sandwich. Both were yummy and a great value. The hot chocolate with honey was amazingly delicious. Friendly staff, excellent food and service, will definitely stop by here again on my next visit to NYC.
Got the lox bagel on everything- bagel was 10/10 but the amount of salmon was 3/10 - it is a criminally small amount- one strip of salmon. Cream cheese was excellent and tomato was quality but there were no capers ??. The cost was the same as a lox from other shops with 3 times the salmon. If it was like $10 then the value would be there.But with that said -inside it is super tiny (4 two tops only but it makes up for the lack of size with charm. Found this cute little place yesterday (we are visitors). It was so cozy & the staff were like a family working together with a genuine smile & warmth. We order a mozzarella pesto sandwich, Caesar’s salad, ham & Swiss cheese baguette & fresh orange juice. It was delicious! The ciabatta was soft inside and had the right amount of crisp outside.
