Food at Pret is always reliably fresh wholesome. This is the franchise to look for if I were traveling and looking for a quick wholesome bite to eat. Lately the prices have been raised though. There appears to be 3 locations in this area! I recall being able to get half-size servings for less than $5 but not anymore. FIRST of a the staff at this location. (E 41st and Third Ave) are SO kind and attentive. SECOND...Why no tip jar?This staff at 9am are working so hard. Why isn't the public allowed to tip people as WE THE PUBLIC SEE FIT? For the love of all humanity let them have a tip jar.

Decent location always clean nice staff. The only thing is they're overpriced for their size but that's the same with all prets. For ex got their smoked salmon sub, which they don't always have so seems special of the day or seasonal - 1 tiny piece of salmon is not worth $8. May be the person who prepped it but it didn't even cover the bread. I'd been better off at a bodega next door.
