Skyline Rooftop Bar is a fantastic NYC rooftop destination with an unbeatable atmosphere, great views, and delicious food. The shrimp cocktail was easily one of the highlights of our visit—the shrimp were fresh, perfectly chilled, and paired with a flavorful cocktail sauce that really brought everything together. So, a really nice rooftop terrace, good stocked bar, friendly service ....sadly there is a big 'but'...surimi in a crab roll, not declared and for 25$ for 1 roll. 20% tip auto added to every bill. Well, for me a low at a Mariott i would not have expected this, even a Fairfield. Got a really good old fashioned, free Water, so its +/- here... Burger looked ok.

Skyline Rooftop Bar & Lounge, located on top of the Fairfield Hotel, offers a memorable experience with its great service and spectacular views. The bar serves specialty drinks, including a strawberry mojito and Tokyo tea, with the strength varying based on the bartender. Prices are on the higher side, and there is a 20% gratuity automatically added to large orders. The rooftop area provides a fun atmosphere with music and a dimly lit, private ambiance.
In addition to the bar, the hotel offers a breakfast area for guests with a variety of hot and cold options, managed by the exceptional Breakfast Manager, Jay. The breakfast selection has improved since his arrival, with a focus on refreshing popular items and maintaining a clean, friendly environment. The breakfast area can get crowded on weekends, so visiting earlier in the morning is recommended. Guests are encouraged to try the breakfast again, as the quality has significantly improved under Jay's management.
