We are regulars at Havenmeyer and the manager suggested we try their sister restaurant Spes ! We absolutely loved it!! Food is phenomenal, authentic Italian, cute quant romantic atmosphere and fantastic hospitality from Diego!! This is a must try if you’re a wine or pasta lover!
This place is a gem! New to me, to become one of my go-tos; not just delicious but overall provides a wonderful experience…. And an impressive wine selection that’s far from standard, to which we had a near perfect Barolo (shoutout to Olivia). Hope to still get a reservation in the future - but this place is bound to become a very well known spot.
