Reviews for St. George Tavern

This place serves both American Pub food as well as Chinese food. We went for the Chinese - Fried dumplings, General Tso chicken and prawns Lo Mein. Since we were super gingery for lunch at 4pm, we were super happy to see food on our table within few minutes of ordering! ?

After a windy night at the ice cubes in Pier 17, my friends and I were in need of dinner. There isn’t much of restaurants around the South Seaport area and this place popped up. Despite the low reviews, we took a chance on this tavern because it is a historical landmark and the affordable prices compared to other Manhattan establishments. Our meal was meh. First, the hostess was surprised we had reservations. I totally get it, the place was empty, but still, don’t be full review

The flavor of everything was great. The curry itself was perfect. They also had a little spice section where you can add pepper to choose how spicy it is. The Katsu and Croquette didn't have a nice crispy fried exterior like I was expecting (It was kind of soft even with eating right away) but the flavors were all there.
