My wife and I went to Sushi Jin last night for the first time. It was wonderful on all fronts - the space, the vibe, the freshness, the omakase selections, the assembly, the presentation, and of course, the taste (oishii!). Really good sake, too. Chef Tachikawa took great care of us- he was friendly, gracious, and way capable. Our server (everything else but the sushi), Jean, was also fantastic. My favorite sushi spot in Manhattan. Sushi is traditional, sophisticated, fresh, and of great quality. Great service and the staff really know how to treat their guests. It's a bit expensive but once you go you realize it's 100% worth it, the quality difference compared to the under $100 places is so noticeable. We will be back!
