Always crowded which is good to me this tells me the food has a high turnover so it should be fresher. Rice and gandulas (peas) good, fried pork slices good. This is very good food at a good price. After trying Mofongo for the first time a couple of days ago at another place, I wanted to see if I would have the same experience at my local place. While good the Mofongo did not knock me off my feet. However the Mofongo was decent and you got a lot of it, like the bag was seriously heavy. Delicious Food and Friendly Service. Atmosphere is 3 stars cuz it’s really a hole in the wall type of place. Mofongo with Chicharrón is absolutely delicious and my co worker told me the Mondongo soup was divine. They accept credit cards as payment but just remember that they will charge you 4% for doing so.
