Lagos TSQ is a lively restaurant located in the heart of Times Square, offering a unique dining experience. The service is generally praised, with the staff described as kind and attentive, although some recent reviews point out areas for improvement. The menu features a mix of Nigerian dishes and American favorites with a Nigerian twist, such as the popular pepper soup and the Lagos burger. Recent reviews highlight the tasty food, great drinks, and vibrant atmosphere, making it a perfect spot before a Broadway show. Customers enjoy the lively vibe, with Afrobeats music, multiple floors, and the option to have hookah at the bar. The décor and friendly staff contribute to a warm environment that visitors appreciate every time.
Customers have shared positive experiences, especially with dishes like mac and cheese, BBQ wings, and jollof rice with chicken. The mojito is noted to be strong and flavorful. The restaurant's hospitality is a key selling point, but some customers have experienced lapses in service. The upstairs and downstairs both offer a good vibe, and the large screens playing sports add to the lively atmosphere. Lagos TSQ remains a popular destination for both locals and visitors seeking good music, great drinks, and a fun environment. While the food and portions receive high praise, there are mentions of the need for better service during busy times. Some guests noted that the music selection is top tier, though the volume can sometimes be overwhelming. The hookah and the manager are also highlighted, and dishes like mac and cheese with jerk chicken receive enthusiastic recommendations.
