“Enjoyed an excellent dinner tonight at Savor. Food was delicious-there were four of us—two of us had the pork chop and the other two had the Swiss burger. Well prepared, juicy, tasty. Would have again. The $30 prix fixe dinner offers appetizer (we had the crab cake and the goat cheese and quinoa salad), main course and dessert (all excellent). Student/servers did a great job. Hats off to the chefs. Will return. Make sure to get a reservation.”

“To be clear, I am writing this review about ONE item only. It is all I ordered. It's the steamed dumplings. Happened upon this place in my travels and was pleasantly surprised. If you like the old school steamed dumplings, i.e., the thicker dough type rather than what 99% of chinese restaurants serve (which is awful thin tiny things that do not ever warrant a purchase), you will love these dumplings. They are not super huge but are a good size and at this writing it was $6.75 for 8. I visit the Falls a bunch and will be returning to sample other fare. The atmosphere is typical chinese restaurant in my opinion. Which is just fine.”

“The food was divine, my wife ordered the clams for a starter which was absolutely delicious. The drinks selection was great. The service was superb as they gave my wife & I a free dessert for our anniversary. Plus the meal was delicious, the Delmonico steak was cooked to absolute perfection.”

“Honestly, I almost feel silly giving McDonald’s a 5-star rating.. However this location really stands out against any other McD’s. The staff/service has always been impeccable. The fact this location has a play-place just makes it that much better. Also - the playplace has a great “viewing” area to watch your kiddos! Also the noise stays IN the playplace area.. so if you don’t have kids you don’t have to worry about hearing other screaming kids just being in this restaurant.”

“Was at this restaurant on Sunday afternoon around 1:30pm the store was very busy it took 22 minutes to get food. Normally I would be upset about the wait but the staff esp the older woman at the front register was very apologetic and kind. They were dealing with a packed restaurant and drive thru and did it all with smiles”

“My mom and I came here before touring the falls, its directly adjacent to the ferry ride! Excellent service, the woman taking our order was very sweet and explained the 15% gratuity for eating in, we were already planning on taking out so no problem 😊. They were slightly understaffed but our food was done in less than 20 minutes. We ordered the shrimp fried rice and the shrimp udon bowls! Both were amazing and so much food we couldn't finish it. It was a little pricey, but thats to be expected in a touristy area. Both the milk teas are also an excellent choice! I would definitely recommend this place to someone passing through looking for a quick, fresh, yummy meal!”

The locals that were there were also very nice and helpful. They even gave us sleds to take with us so that we could go sledding! The atmosphere is one that makes you want to stay for a long time. “The food and service was excellent! As a party of six we tried many items on the menu. Steak burrito, BLT club, B and G, but the star of the show was the pancakes. They were the best I've ever had. The lady who waited on us was so kind. She even took our family picture by the front of the restaurant. It was a a great experience and so inexpensive.”

“My husband and I started a tour business and our very first tour was to the Stevensville Garden Gallery, Betty’s for dinner followed by the Winter Festival of Lights. I cannot say enough about the amazing service we received from Betty’s but firstly, I have to say that while planning our tour, Joe was extraordinary. He was so patient and understanding whenever changes arose and when our reservation ended up being smaller than we had originally thought it would be, he was extremely kind and compassionate. When we arrived at Betty’s Restaurant with our tour group, my husband and I were even more impressed by Joe and his team. We had brought our toddler along on our tour and as our group was being escorted to our table to be seated, our daughter who was absolutely obsessed with Peter Rabbit at the time was saying that she’s hungry and with her big imagination, she was actually pretending to be Peter Rabbit. Having overheard our daughter, a plate of baby carrots was brought to the table for our toddler before our group could even finish placing our order for drinks with our server. Our group was not even seated for more than a few minutes when the carrots arrived, and my husband and I were so touched by the thoughtfulness that was shown to our little girl. It goes without saying that the food and the service was incredible and we could not have asked for a better place to bring a tour group. We all had a great time and Betty’s Restaurant was definitely the highlight of our first bus tour. Joe and his team went above and beyond for us; from the moment we started planning the tour to the moment our group left the restaurant, we received exceptional service. It was great on Pierce Avenue, when it was both locations, and it's still going strong solely on The Blvd. I have RARELY encountered a restaurant that is consistent EVERY SINGLE TIME. Consistency is so important when running a business; It shouldn't depend on who is working that day, what mood the cook is in, etc... This is how you do it. Family owned and run, straightforward, great food, and genuine people.
We asked for a recommendation and ordered several Beef on Weck sandwiches. Thin sliced seasoned beef on a Kimmelweck roll with incredible flavor. If you’ve never had one, the Kimmelweck roll is part of what makes the sandwich so good. The coarse salt, caraway seeds, and sturdy roll complement the juicy beef perfectly, especially with plenty of horseradish added. You can see why this became a Western New York classic.
We also had the fried bologna sandwich with hot peppers, which was packed with flavor and done right. Portions were generous and everything we ate was excellent.
But a review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the service. The owners stopped by to talk, and they were authentic, friendly people. It felt like a local hometown spot instead of being halfway across the country from home.
Places like Jon Fre’s are what make traveling memorable. This place deserves to be an American icon. Don’t miss it, and definitely order the Beef on Weck.”

“I gave the food 4 stars because the blooming onion, bread and sweet butter were worth the trip. Food is too expensive,no wonder no one was in there. Also the seating is very tight and tables are not moveable so uncomfortable. We liked the steaks but they were undercooked based on their listing of colour. No time to make them again, people to see, places to go! Parking just putside was $15 for 2 hours so we had a time limit or else we could not have left a tip lol”
