“Grappa 72 has always been my favorite. ❤️here’s why. I hadn’t been in awhile- used to go frequently, so I grabbed a to-go order of their excellent fettuccini bolognese and some bruschetta to take home after a very long drive- ❤️❤️❤️and had a glass of wine at their friendly and comfortable bar while I waited. It’s 100 degrees outside- so I wasn’t dressed (shorts and an ocean city tee lol) but it was early.. so I popped in to wait for my order. From reception to bar to the chef popping out with my order- to the other lovely guests who were popping in as well and enjoying banter and kind conversation.. the bartender primo making everyone happy- I can’t tell you how much that atmosphere warms my soul. Good people, great food, no pretensions, phenomenal service.. and I can attest from so many previous visits- a warm and inviting dining room where when they have music you never want to leave. Soooo well done from every aspect. Thanks Grappa!!! I’ll be back soon, I’ve missed you while I’ve been away! Did I mention the bolognese? I went there recently before a show at Proctors, and unfortunately the kitchen was a little behind, and we did not have enough time to eat. When leaving Proctors, our server was waiting outside the theater to give us our food to take home. They really went above and beyond. I will definitely be going back soon!“

Shrimp scampi, Pasta Fagioli Soup, Shrimp Carbonara, two large salads with all the fixings and a really great Raspberry lemonade. We enjoyed chicken frangelica and veal sorrento. The chicken was beautiful with a hazelnut flavor and sauce. The veal was also excellent, tender and served with pasta and red sauce.
We also had an appetizer, greens and beans, enough for 4 people and DELICIOUS! Desert was a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, so moist! With a wine the bill was under $100.00

“We had a really good experience at Ralph’s. It was a quaint little place that has obviously been in business for a long time. The staff was friendly. The place was clean and welcoming. Started off with medium buffalo wings and french fries with beef gravy. For dinner I had a half portion of penne with two meatballs and one hot sausage. My wife had the fish fry with french fries. The french fries were cooked exceptionally well crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The beef gravy was delicious and salty. Just like I expected definitely homemade. My half portion of pasta was definitely more than enough for one person the meatballs were tender, and the sausage was flavorful. I got it with the marinara sauce, which was a little spicy to my surprise, but it was still good. My wife enjoyed the fish fry said it was delicious in the cocktail sauce and tartar sauce was good. The wings in my opinion are one of the best in the area. Great flavor cooked exceptionally well crispy on the outside tender on the inside indefinitely fresh it’s a must try if you like chicken wings. We also ordered a sheet pizza to go with Italian sweet peppers and sausage turned out to be delicious. We heated it up the next day. It’s a must try for looking for a good place for dinner. That’s not very expensive but has good quality food. Recommend giving it a try.“

“So this was my first time here…we had a birthday celebration for my boss! About 13 people. Reservations were for 6:00pm. I came about 15 minutes late, and some people had drinks already. We waited for our waitress to return and it was almost 1/2hr. She took our second drink order, and seemed annoyed. The restaurant was very busy (which we were told by other servers) another 1/2hr pasted and finally she took our food orders. At this point, we were very hungry and disappointed-I guess our server had another big table.. So our salads were dropped off but another female server (who seemed very professional and much nicer than our original server) After that things seemed better. Food was good! I just thought about the customer service of the first waitress. She seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I work in customer service (which is very important especially for first impressions) would i recommend this restaurant yes, food was good. Service was not so great.“

“They have a nice happy hour. Good deals on food and drinks. It gets crowed and the happy hour only applies to bar seating. It should cover the high tops in the bar too, you have to stand around at the bar to get food and drinks, if there’s no bar seats available. Even know plenty of high tops are right there and empty.“

If you have kids whose staple food is boiled noodles and butter, no matter the time nor the day, Bellini's will satisfy, and won't break the bank. Without a Noodles & co around for at least 100 miles, Bellini's has you covered, and is a must-stop for us. I can also recommend the meatballs and sausage.“

“We went to Milanos for the first time today, and we’re never going back. To say that the service was terrible would be an understatement. Ordered a large pizza and watched it sit there on the counter getting cold because the server was MIA. I was going to walk over there and pick it up myself, but I flagged down the other server who did it for me. Same thing when I asked for the check. I could see if the place was busy and they were understaffed, they weren’t. As far as the food goes, mediocre at best. The “large” pizza was actually small and we left there hungry. We should have eaten at the burger place a few doors down.“

After losing the Italian deli in Saratoga that I've patronized for many years to a buyer from Albany that doesn't even answer the phone, I began a search for a true Italian deli. When I walked into La Gioia I knew I had found what I was looking for. The aroma of Italy in the air, the hustle bustle of a staff serving with professional knowledge, courtesy, and a neat and clean appearance so rare today, and shelves and cases filled with all the Mediterranean delicacies imaginable, made me realize the true gem I discovered. This was a wonderful epiphany for me; I smiled all the way home 30 miles away.“

“Damn good pizza! I'll be the first to admit I'm not the biggest fan of a sweet pizza sauce but damn ya'll nailed it. I got pepperoni and mushroom pizza. When it comes to pepperoni I'm a snob. They've got probably the best pepperoni I've ever had on a pizza. The crust holds up and has a really good complementary flavor to the sauce and toppings. Also got mac and cheese bites. I'm not the biggest fan of mac and cheese but ya'll done did it again. I absolutely love that the marinara sauce isn't the pizza sauce like most places. Also had the house made blu cheese that's equally good. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. She even told us when to come back to try a slice of cob pizza because it will be fresh out of the oven. I was really shocked at the price and not in a bad way. My regular place would have charged me $20 for the same order. I'll definitely be coming back.“
