“I go to visit relatives in Northport a couple of times a year. I can't believe that I haven't been to this place before! I've driven by and noticed it but it kind of blends in.

I ordered 3 sandwiches (Rosa, Amore and Porchetta). I was a little concerned that the sandwiches might be on the small side, based on the images on the website. Well, let me tell you, these sandwiches are huge. One sandwich could be lunch and dinner (one half each meal) for a majority of people.

And the meatballs are tender with a delicious tangy marinara. These meatballs are better than Maroni down the street and much less expensive.

Sandwiches were so good, I picked up another for the beach the next day (La Nonna meatball sandwich). It was fantastic but did not come with any red sauce. Maybe they forgot it, I dunno. But I also ordered more meatballs and used that sauce to dip the sandwich

The macchiato was great. I am quite particular about coffee. This coffee was flavorful and strong

For entrees, we had the penne alla vodka (portion was a bit smaller than expected) as well as the chicken marsala, chicken parm, and arugula pie, which were all good. This place is a bit pricy but it is an upper/mid range Italian restaurant. The actual dining area is cozy and intimate. They have a cute bar area upon walking in. “Sorry to have to leave a negative review. Been a customer for many years but the last two experiences were horrible.
First went for the lunch special restaurant wasn’t crowded and sat at bar as usual. Waited over 45 minutes for a hamburger. This was a little bit annoying.
Visited again last night with a friend for the Thursday Steamed Lobster Special. The lobster was brought to the table blacked I questioned why and said it must be broiled because every steamed lobster in my life time is red not black. The waiter took it to the kitchen and said the chef said it was steamed ( I mean really) next up it was supposed to come with roasted potatoes the waiter brought French Fries which he should have advised of the menu change. The blackened lobster was over cooked and not tasty at all. It was a really bad dining experience Obviously the so called chef doesn’t know how to steam a lobster and over cooked it.
Moving on I will no longer be a patron of this establishment“

Reviewing This place is about Pizza, service how good the experience was and people should keep it that way. The owner is very passionate about what he does. The people that work there are as friendly as can be. They make an excellent pizza. All the food is good Even the desserts, try the Saint Joseph’s !

And for the person that commented about the drive-through window. It’s actually been there for years and years because it was a hamburger place prior to Marcos Called Burger Haven, sort of like a drive-in now converted into a pizzeria so when the owner bought the place, what was he going to do seal the window? lol that would be a bad business move. It’s actually convenient for most people that want to pick up a pie. I am from Brooklyn and I know good pizza and his pizza in the area is one of the best at a reasonable price. He makes a good crust & if you’re feeling adventurous, Try the clam pie. It’s very very good.“
