Besides a regular diner menu, he serves crawfish and shrimp alfredo and a jambalaya that please any palate, as mild or spicy as you prefer. All cooked to order. Try his fish sandwich on sourdough bread. It is humongous and comes with 2 sides of your choice. Dessert features a big variety local, Perry’s Ice Cream. With snow cones for the kiddies. Beignets , just like at the Cafe DuMond in New Orleans.“

“I'm on the run a lot and have now stopped three times for to-go orders and have been extremely happy each time. Their soups are fantastic. Most recently ordered the greek salad, it is amazing, the salad is perfectly balanced with ingredients, the Greek dressing on the side was a most generous portioned size, it was so scrumptious. I had only wished I had requested bread to soak up the remaining of the dressing after it had filtered through all those fresh ingredients, picking up addional flavors before everything else was fully devoured. I highly recommend Caryville Inn.“

“Went to the Burnin' Barrel BBQ (Homestretch Grill) at Batavia Downs with Dad and Mom. Tried the Half-rack of Smoked Ribs while my parents had the Pulled Piggy (no bun) & onion strings. Absolutely delicious. Portions were generous and the BBQ sauce was amazing! Very beautiful mural in the dining area too!“

“Overall, a good meal. Our waitress was pleasant and personable. I applaud Batavia Downs for trying to up the level on their restaurant and food selections. My NY strip was cooked to order and my wife's chicken special was very good. They could go from good to great by focusing on the details a bit more. Our wine, delivered 15 minutes after ordering, was presented by a very young server with “ I don't know if this is the wine you ordered? Could you taste it?” Wine and beer selection was minimal- why not add feature local craft beers (Eli Fish) or Finger Lakes wines ( Dr Konstantin) Lets promote Batavia and NY state! My $9 salad looked and tasted like it was from a $1.29 iceberg mix from the local supermarket with a couple of tomatoes thrown in... how about some spring mix and other veggies? Our entrees did not come with a vegetable nor did I see any on the menu? Perhaps grilled asparagus or Brussels sprouts or simply green beans? Again a good meal and thank you BD for this option... now take it to the next level!“

“Arrived at 7:55 unaware that this establishment closes @8 pm. I asked what time they close and the owner said 8 pm. I went to leave and he said wait where are going. We close at 8 but as long as you sit before you have time. Waitress was friendly and wasn't acting as we bothered her. Even the other waitresses were talking to us and joking around! phenomenal service Definitely do not find this hospitality or customer service now days! Sport of Kings you are top notch in our book. “This place is absolutely amazing. 9 times out of 10 this is my favorite spot for our Friday night dinners. I've never had a bad meal here and I doubt I ever will. I'm addicted to the broiled fish with crab stuffing and the lobster bisque is to die for, I'm not even lying. the owners are always walking around and talking to the customers and they remember everyone!! “Accidentally found Jen's Joint today when the usual place my friend and I visit in Batavia was closed. What a find!! We can't wait to visit again!!! Amazing food that is homemade, and a wonderful staff!! I haven't had a burger like that since I made it myself. The owner /chef has a true gift!! Our server was so kind and friendly and helpful with any requests, I couldn't believe it! This is a true hidden jewel outside of Batavia and I can't wait to visit it again!!!“

“Fitzgibbons is like a woodworker’s art museum, but with a well-stocked bar amidst its unique carvings and decor. It’s worth lingering for the atmosphere alone. Their standout dish remains Shepherd’s Pie — it’s simple and hearty. While I chose to nurse a Jameson’s whiskey the night of a recent visit, the intriguing beer menu here always tempts me. The staff are duly welcoming but maybe a bit overworked when it gets too crowded. It’s never a dull night when one stops by Fitzgibbons though, unless it’s a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday when the place is closed.“

“We enjoyed the 11:30 Christmas Brunch Sunday at the Alabama Hotel with our family and it was absolutely delicious! Such a selection of food and it was all very warm and not one thing dried out. The fruit was so fresh! The grandchildren enjoyed the many different choices as much as the adults did! And all the servers are awesome and were very attentive! Great job to all at Alabama Hotel! “Great little place off the beaten path of main street. Easy open parking and seating while limited will be worth the effort to get in.

The seating is limited but also have a out door area weather permitting. The atmosphere was very nice. TONS of classic fun stuff to look at to make converstation about. The seating and bar is a classic relaxing feel to it.. I would say max 4 to

The food was equally amazing. The Ruben was very good. I give it an 8 out of 10, as I am super picky about the best ruben around. The meat was or is shreded, so you won't get get a huge chunk of meat all at once. The taste was spot on, and so was the toasty-ness of the bread.

Presentation was good. Someone took the time to actually look at what they are serving and ensured it looked as good as it could be.. I would say 4 person group max would be ideal for this place.

Service was good. Friendly. No issues with payment or the bill.

“We stopped Sunday for the most amazing Blueberry muffins still warm. We got a chocolate almond pretzel and cannoli to go. both were absolutely delicious!!!“

“Comfort food galore! You can't beat Tully's. I'm not a chain restaurant patron, but Tully's is different, see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
I did remove a star for two very fixable issues.
First, the popcorn machine was broken, kids were looking forward toi t.
Second, they have great coleslaw, however they are only giving us a salad dressing cup full instead of the small bowl we used to receive.
Again, both are fixable and I hope they do soon.
Hopefully they're not turning into a regular chain restaurant.“

“😁We eat at Captain's a lot instead of going to Burger King or McDonalds; you can always count on a good meal here and the food is always hot. Been going here since we moved here about 20 yrs ago. Definitely worthy of a 5+ star review. The servive is always excellent and the staff is always friendly and welcoming!“

“Sicilian style pizza is worth the price. Cup and char, sweet sauce with garlic crust. Seasoned well so if you’re not a garlic fan go with regular crust. Eggplant parm sub is great, like the steak and cheese. The Royal will be the next one I try. Always have my order ready on time. Thanks Tim“

The plastic glass did say 16 ounces on the bottom but my 12 ounce bottle of beer just fit in it. I questioned the bartender. “Food was good and hot. It's a geat place to take the kids. We had to wait a bit after we were done eating for our server to return with check and to request boxes. We were also brought the wrong sauce for a meal. Not really deal breakers for me just little annoyances for the kids. The sauce was changed out when my daughter went up to a server and requested it. The staff was nice and accommodating. Lots of parking availability. The parking lot was nicely plowed especially with the weather we have had.“

I had to tell her 3 times we needed more time to look at the menu and she kept coming back every 5 minutes (the restaurant was empty it was around 11pm) the last time we just got fed up with her rushing us so we ordered food we weren’t exactly in the mood to eat but other than that it’s a good location.“
