“Let me just say here that I have been to Haidilao many times and the food is not only delicious but also very warm. Just like today, I would like to express my strong thanks to the handsome guy who served us, helped us find parking tickets in the garbage, and patiently helped us change the bottom of the pot. really thankful! Must praise!“
“This place took me a bit to find but i must say it was worth the wait and trip. This has been the best KBBQ and hot pot ive been to. The most variety of foods from soups, meats, seafood among other things. Great place for birthdays and celebrations. Staff was exceptional and friendly. Will be returning with friends and family.“
“It’s always a good time at CQLZ. Be warned that the wait is long, usually 2-3 hours Friday-Sunday, esp at dinner, so you should just come out down your name and then explore Flushing. The larger the group, the longer the expected wait (eg if >6, they only have 3 tables that size, so it takes a while). Beautiful interior reminiscent of an old Chinese village. The broth here is delicious. If you like spicy, the hot broth got you covered with however hot you want it. If you don’t like spicy, the tomato broth and the mushroom broth are both solid, with the mushroom broth being more delicate. The meat and vegetables are all pretty fresh, and you should probably get 3-5 things per person depending on how hungry you are. The sauce is make as you want, and they have some recs for combinations at the bottom of the menu if you get overwhelmed with the options.Definitely worth a try. This is our go to hot pot spot.“
“The dishes at Thirty-Seven Lane are very rich and varied, and the vegetables are very fresh. The beef is recommended to be hand-cut beef. It tastes great. The crabs are still alive and delicious. The waiter Xiaokai is great. My friends and I are very happy to have the meal. Thank you San Lane 17“
“This place was a wonderful experience I went there for the first time and I told my server his name was Jason he was so helpful and recommended the best options for us everything was so delicious everything tasted so fresh , Thanks again to Jason for the best experience and recommendation he was honest and everything came as he explained definitely will be going back frequently, Everything was 10/10“
“This is a Thai run restaurant that combines a shabu shabu (hot pot) with Thai flavors. It is easy to miss as it is located on the second floor above a standard Thai restaurant. It is all you can eat and was reasonably priced at $24.99 a person. Overall, this is an interesting fusion place to try, though it is not without flaws. In terms of a shabu shabu, their selection of meats and vegetables is actually more basic than a normal one. The meats you can choose from include such standard items like beef, pork, chicken, some organ meats, and fish, squid, clam, and shrimp. The vegetables are on the side and were also relatively minimal in selection. A typical shabu shabu would have at least double the amount of items offered, but this place is much smaller. However, they are unique in that they offer Thai flavored broths for boiling. You can choose from a tom saap soup (lemongrass, galangal, lime leaves) or jaew hon (basil, shallot). We tried both soup bases and they were both very flavorful. As other reviews have mentioned, they also have an extremely delicious (though very salty) garlic fried rice, which you can help yourself to next to the vegetables and which is also unlimited.“
“Absolutely!"Fantastic experience at Hongdae Korean! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and authentic. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was simply outstanding - each dish bursting with flavor and prepared with care.Overall, Highly recommend Hongdae Korean for anyone craving delicious Korean cuisine!"“
“The service at this store is top-rated! They offer free snacks and kids' meals, and the quality of the meat freshness is excellent. We ordered a pot of chicken and pork stomach as soup base, and the soup is incredibly delicious with rich materials! We also chose a clear mineral water pot base, which is also very tasty and goes well with lamb rolls! The portions of beef and lamb are generous and satisfying! Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: Yes“
“Love that you can serve yourself. If you mostly only eat meat at hot pot, this would not be the best choice for you. However, for those who rather eat other things (I.e. veggies, tofu, fish balls, noodles), this a is a great and affordable hot pot option for you. My favorite broth is the mala. It’s the perfect about spice! I also love the soft serve ice cream at the end!“
“Formally known as dolar shop I love how they transformed dolar shop into chocho now! It’s acye, with a variety of different cuts of meats and I must say the meats are super fresh ! The buffet has a variety of different things to choose from. There’s also a dessert bar! The staff is friendly attentive and helpful. Spacious restaurant good for a large group also has they have a room that fits up to 8+ in the back!“
“A bit crowded, but no wait for a weekend dinner. Never had the hot pot here, but keep coming back for their Hainanese Chicken. Their sauces are made in house and are the reason we keep coming back. Better than 99% of the spots in Flushing. Everything is ordered through an iPad so you never have to wait if you need to ask for more rice or anything. Great spot for a quick bite or date night.“
“This skewer hotpot restaurant is great! Skewers are priced well at 30 cents each. The bubble tea is also pretty solid. I've been craving this hotpot every week lately. I definitely prefer this style of hotpot to regular hotpot. Authentic and reminds me of the skewer hotpot spot I used to frequent when I was studying in China.“
“Liuyishou hotpot in Flushing is a must-try! ?They’ve got an impressive range of meats, seafood, and veggies for your hotpot cravings, all made with top-notch ingredients. The All-You-Can-Eat experience is a game-changer - endless options to satisfy you taste buds. If you’re in Flushing and craving a top-notch hotpot“
“This place is such a gem! Price is not bad, and the food is amazing! I don't know what authentic Tibetan food should taste like, but this place is a family-owned business so I would inclined to believe that they serve authentic food. I came here for lunch today at around 1PM. The place was empty but as I began devouring my lunch, more people showed up for a late lunch, and guessing from the language they speak, they are all Tibetans/Himalayans. The menu is not necessarily friendly to non-Tibetans but my server was kind enough to explain menu items. I did also google some of the names of the food to figure out my order. I settled with an appetizer, a dropa khatsa. It's stir fried beef tripe. It's got a hint of curry but not overpowering and it doesn't remind you of Indian food. I The main dish I ordered was the mala dry pot with rice noodle fan (similar to Korean japchae noodles) with beef stomach (beef tripe but the bible tripe kind), fish balls, and mushrooms. The dry pot was spicy but not overly spicy. I caught a hint of Chinese Five Spice in it. Will definitely come back to try more food!“
“This is my first time eating at KPOT. Johnny the assistant manager and Jailine the waitress made my meal beyond my expectations. I will definitely recommend this location to anyone that enjoys Korean Barbecue and Hot Pot. I will be visiting this location again.“
“Make me smell like HOT POTDon't miss this authentic Chinese Northern hot pot restaurant- Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Flushing IT/# (Happy Lamb).Unlike Sichuan hotpot, Northern hotpot is lighter and less spicy, focusing more on the flavor and freshness of the soup base.In "Happy Lamb Hot Pot," there is a declaration: "Hail to the Broth"* The meat portions are huge, so make sure you do not order too much as we did!Value AYCE $23.95House special AYCE $26.95Premium VIP. “If you're looking for a skewer place this is the spot. Skewers are super cheap 60c each plus you can also order additional items from their menu. Get the spicy broth along with the pork bone. The spicy broth definitely has a kick if you are a fan of spicy food. Definitely goes well with the skewers plus an ice cool beer ! The restaurant is spacious with enough tables; there are a lot of different variety to choose from. They also give you a bag to put your jacket so it doesn't smell and an apron so your clothes don't get dirty. The service is top notch no complains there ! Will definitely be back! My go to hotpot spot for the cold winter weather !“
“Pls read it in the tune of "I will survive " by Gloria Gaynor - I was afraid of hot spice Ok here it goes, music please! First, I was afraid, I was petrified, kept thinking, I could never eat, without water by my side. But then I got brave and took a bite, how can this be wrong? Then took another bite and I learned to get along It was so good! no no I survived! I will survive! Thank you thank you very much! It's very flavorful, we got it delivered n packaging was great. Eat person got a cute bag so there was no confusion. Try different broths, veggies n proteins. Be brave and order spicy broth. Go ahead. You will survive“
“Friendship BBQ offers an overall delightful dining experience. While the vegetables can be hit or miss in terms of preparation, the meat steals the show with its excellent quality and flavorful taste. The food is generally good, making it a satisfying choice for those craving a tasty BBQ experience. ???“
“The best ma la Tang at this area! The soup is so rich, we all know soup is the most important parts of ma la Yang, and this soup will not let you down.Next time I will ask them what is the soup made of. It's not too salty, so you can enjoy the soup while you eating the vegetables and meat. The vegetable, they have mushrooms, cabbage, Shanghai green vegetable, two kinds of tofu products, wood ear, noodle, Potato Meats: Taiwan sausage and meatballs. I hope they have beef. You don't have choice about the meat.I love the bowl. A lot restaurant use those tall white plastic bowls or white wide thin plastic for noodle and I hate it. But the container they are using is higher quality. The food is hot but the bowl outside will not burn your hands When you order take out, you can tell them to pick up at a specific time, and they will prepare the food food right before your arrive. Excellent service! The waiter and waitress are really nice.“
“We ordered the Chicken and Pig Stomach Soup. The broth had a deep golden color, indicating its richness. The chicken was tender, adding to the overall satisfaction. Additionally, we tried the chocolate bread with a mahjong tile design on top. The staff skillfully sliced it open, revealing a flow of creamy filling. Despite being a bit greasy, it was incredibly delicious.“
“This place is surely one of the most attractive place to eat in the neighborhood. Always when I come there I am highly happy. They keep their high standard service and the highest level of food they serve. You will be always satisfied with this place. Highly recommended.“
“Wasnt expecting to pay so much at this place. =(All you can eat veggies, noodles, fishballs. If you are only eating this it’s worth the price. Added other meats/seafood and drinks. Expect to pay a lot. If you like desserts after don’t bother here. Don’t like the tables. People sitting against the wall are trap and inconvenient to get food. Good point - the soup is tasty, veggies are fresh and has a parking lot.“
“I'm from Hong Kong and have lived and traveled all over China, and there's not a better Chinese restaurant than this. My son and I have been going there almost every Saturday lunch for 3 years, and we're sooooo sad they're gone“
“I don't know what isn't to love here! Prepare for very long waits, but it's worth it! All you can eat hotpot with lots of options of seafood, meats, veggies, drinks, side dishes, etc! Plenty of ingredients to customize your own dipping sauce too. I love this place! They're all very friendly and helpful!“
“Pros: * The quality of the meats (2 cuts of beef, think sliced pork belly, and lamb) are really good. * They have a decent selection of misc proteins like tripe, duck feet, along with carb selection including instant noodle, mung bean noodle, rice cake, and etc. Staples like small variety of fish balls, corn, cruciferous veggies, and tofu/bean curd variations were also available. * Sauce options were * The soup options were great and super tasty. * The place is clean and the decor is cute. * Soda (canned) are free and speciality drinks are reasonably priced. * There's a few ready to eat apps. These were all very tasty! Cons: * The sauce bar is in a very awkward spot. There's a piece of ceiling that jets out at the end of the sauce bar where you can easily hit your head. * When it's busy, the area to grab food can get super crowded. There no great flow to the buffet area. * Lacking green leaf veggie options. Unlike places like Spring Shabu Shabu where veggies dominate, here you get about 3 - 4 types of veggies (spinach, dandelion greens, Napa cabbage). All in all, for $35.88 pp, it's totally worth it! I'd just recommend going early for dinner when it's less busy.“
“Very good mala dry pot for a reasonable price. You pick the ingredients (so many options, vegan options too), choose spice level, and they serve it in a lovely wooden bowl with cilantro and rice included. Great flavors. This place deserves way more than 3 stars!Vegetarian options: Dry pot with vegan options is incredible - just pick 5 or so veggies (they'll tell you how many) and you get one rice in addition. Multiple kinds of tofu, mushrooms, and veggies, including delicious seaweed.“
“There are enough stations! So good! There is a parking lot and the price is very reasonableThe landlady is also very kind! It’s not just that the hotpot is deliciousOther side dishes and braised pork rice are also super deliciousBig tweet ??????“
