“This place was great! I’m an NA beer drinking and my husband prefers tea & vodka. We came to this bar not knowing what to expect. We sat at the bar and we were greeted by both bartenders. I ordered an NA Italian beer and my husband asked them to make him something like a White Russian. The first bartender (we didn’t get his name) said he could make something even better, so he did. My husband really enjoyed it. It took some time for us to finish our 1st drinks because we were watching Aaron making the most beautiful drinks ever. There was so much passion into the drinks he was putting out. So we asked him if he could make us each a drink. I explained to him that I don’t drink alcohol, and he asked me a lot of questions, to see what types of drinks I like and flavors. He also asked if I had any dietary restrictions, which I answered, no. He then asked my husband the same types of questions. and then, he went to work. He was like a drink wizard! He served us two stunning looking drinks and words cannot even describe the way these drinks tasted! I don’t remember what was in my non-alcoholic cocktail, but I do know it had lemon and lime juice, and part of an egg white. It was phenomenal! Another great thing about him was that he told us the history of some of the liquors he was using in my husband’s drinks and the different flavors. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and a fantastic bartender! I work right around the corner, so my husband and I are looking forward to going back to see what Aaron can create for us next!

“TeLly fun place, excellent whiskey and craft beer selection, great craft cocktails esp. the Espresso Martini. Food is limited to specialty sandwiches and pizzas both are worth having. Theater themed vibe with old black and white movies playing. A cool place to hang out.“

“Fugazi is one of my favorite bars in Buffalo! They have such a large variety of cocktail options and wonderful bartenders! Frankie and Dustin always have great recommendations for drinks and are so sweet and welcoming to everyone, you can tell they’re very beloved by all patrons. I typically go on nights they’re working because I love the atmosphere they provide, they have excellent music choices and make the whole bar feel like a room full of longtime friends getting together even if it’s full of people coming for the first time! “I had the best burger of my LIFE at 189, thanks to Jay! The bourbon onion burger he crafted for me was truly a masterpiece. Even the fries were memorable: crisp and tasty. Their servers are extremely professional and courteous without being stiff--a rare combination indeed.

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“I cannot say enough about the staff at Hartman’s, but especially in the barrel room. Without going into detail, there was a pretty obnoxious crowd. The bartenders, especially our server Alyssa, handled the situation with grace and poise and compassion for their other customers. I was so impressed with their professionalism. To add, i have a fabulous experience every time I am here. Monica is another worker that we visit often because of how amazing she makes our experience. They have 5 options. I went with the quesabirria.$18 It was very good. My spicy margarita was good. $17. Everyone in our party of 9 seemed to all have a great meal. Food didn’t take very long to come out. I’d definitely go back. The celebration parade is for margarita tower delivery. Similar action happens for Birthdays. Thank you for a great time“
