“I've been eating Chan Fu since I was able to walk and continued to eat there through my teen and adult years.
My high school friends family runs the restaurant and it is phenomenal.
They care about the quality of the food and try and bring home to you.

Anything noodles or rice is amazing, I'm huge fan of the dumplings both steamed and fried.

Been eating here since otisvilles population was barely 700 people.
As far as locals go, we only get Chan Fu and compare other places to here.
I've been out of the area for 5 years now but still any time I'm visiting family have to get my dumplings and Lo mein.

They are great people and care about their regular customers.
Is there better Chinese? Maybe but not anywhere in Middletown, as far as local choices go, Chan Fu is a family and friend favorite for consistency and feeling like family when ordering or checking out.

All around great people, great food and worth your time.
Feel free to ask them what they personally like on the menu for a good treat you may not have chosen yourself.

“The best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The staff is amazing too. The young man Hayden always makes you feel better with his smile as he greets you and takes your order, working the phones, and a number of other duties. With a smile on his face. I think the entire staff and owners are very nice and take time out to chat, even when super busy The entire staff are amazing. I highly recommend trying their food. “We've been eating here since I was a kid and it's always been the best place around. In my opinion they have the best sesame chicken and it beats all the other Chinese food places! There's are always crispy with the perfect amount of sauce and heat, whereas others are always swimming in sauce! They're appetizers are also amazing. I've never been disappointed eating/getting food here (and that's been for atleast 10+ years). Always highly recommend and call ahead for an easy pick-up :)“

“I really didn't have any expectations at first. But the lady here is amazingly sweet. A man came in with no money and fed him. She said she does it a lot because people have to eat. She better than she gave full meals i would've given an egg roll and some water. Food was really good taste like old school Chinese food. And she had some banging crap sticks my favorite.“

I will take the long drive to get the food they serve. It’s very flavorful. Food preparation is on point once in a while if there is a problem, you bring it to their attention, and they will handle it to your satisfaction .

“I was looking for a good chinese food place around the Pine Bush, NY area and found good reviews on Peking Garden in Middletown, NY, 30 minutes away from where we were. Decided to take a chance and it was a great decision. The food was absolutely delicious, the price was fair and portions were big enough for our family of three. Even though I didn't ask, it didn't seem like one could dine-in. The service was very good and the place looked clean. Many customers came to pick up their orders while I was there, so the food was moving constantly. The kitchen looked clean as well, and it smelled delicious while they were preparing our food. One thing we completely forgot was to take pictures of the food, but it really was worth the drive and the time spent to pick it up.“

“Surprisedly after reading all the reviews I decided to give them a chance and boy oh boy am I happy we did. I'm actually upset that we haven't tried this place sooner. The lo mein was delicious, The chicken with broccoli and the sesame chicken were very good. Their pork fried rice had a lot of pieces of pork. We will definitely be back!“
