“Checked out the new coffee offering today and it was wonderful! Got an iced latte and matcha latte- both were great. Not many places in the area do matcha latte and it was quality! Baked goods were delicious too. Had a buttery everything biscuit, yummy croissant and lemon loaf slice. “Decent local bar. Good company, live music, and NFL playoffs kept me entertained. Widow Jqne 12 year neat with a side of water was a nicely savored sipper. Our friend's star stealer was a gorgeous perfectly executed jumbo pretzel. Cheese sauce too thin, so that's a pass. The pretzel stands deliciously on it's own.“
“Amazing bar with the best beer selection in Mineola and surrounding towns by a long shot. I'm a hop head and my partner is not, and we can both consistently find draft beers here that we enjoy. It's a wonderful dive (my favorite type of place), with incredibly warm and knowledgeable manager Bob and the bartending staff. My brother, a huge beer head, visited a few years ago on a slow Saturday afternoon and the Smiths were playing and we were surrounded by Radiohead and Nirvana posters. A perfect experience in my book! Their food selection has changed over the years and I haven't checked out Ike's yet but can't wait for it.“
“The burger & wings here are excellent. I’ve ordered the Brooklyn Classic a couple of times now and each time the patty has been really juicy with good flavor. The burger is more of a proper burger that you’d find at a good restaurant and less of a fast food/bar burger. Bun is always soft and accompanying veggies always fresh. They’ll also cook the burger to your preferred rareness. The sauces also taste pretty good (you can sub the sauce for one you like, I rec the white bbq). Wings are perfect in that they are lightly, not overly-breaded and not overly-sauced. I tried the Thai peanut which was surprisingly good. Fries and onion rings were also good. Tried the Parmesan truffle fries & Cajun fries and liked both. Also one of the few places in the area that does beer battered onion rings.“

“Went here yesterday w/ my husband to have some drinks & apps before seeing a show at the Paramount across the street. We sat at the bar. The nachos made w/ homemade potato chips & shredded chicken were very good! I must say that Mike, the bartender was excellent. He attended to our every need. I didn't need to try to get his attention. He was looking around the entire time trying to see if anyone needed anything. We might come back here because it seems like this place knows how to run a great restaurant.“
