“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“The food I ordered was so good and well made, great size portion too. Helena was our server and constantly made sure our bottomless drinks were filled to our satisfaction, proactively took away plates and felt no worry in asking us if certain plate could be taken instead of assuming that some left meant we still wanted it, etc. I loved the social aspect of the service, it made it feel like a place I can go and be remembered / taken care of. “Nudibranch was outstanding—easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. We started with the mushrooms, chicken sandwich, and cavatelli, then had the Denver steak and monkfish as our mains, with scallion pancakes on the side for three people. Every dish was creative, flavorful, and exceptionally well executed.

The chefs are Momofuku alumni, and you can feel that influence in the bold flavors and inventive combinations. Man, I miss Momofuku—but Nudibranch definitely scratched that itch while still feeling entirely like its own thing.

Highly recommend. I’ll absolutely be back.“

“Lingo was the perfect choice for a special celebration. I brought my daughter here and the night was great. It’s a beautiful space, genuinely warm and personable staff, and excellent Japanese-inflected food with a creative twist.

We did have one miss: the ribs were too fatty for our taste. But here's where Lingo service stepped in. Without any fuss, they took the dish off the bill and were so gracious about it. That kind of hospitality is rare and says a lot about how they run their restaurant.

Everything else was delicious and the vibe was just right for a celebratory dinner. I'll absolutely be back.“
