She consistently checked in on us, and I truly had the best birthday ever with 10 of my closest friends. Despite being a larger group, we felt cared for and attended to. “Nudibranch was incredible. Food, cocktails, vibes and service were all genuinely 10/10. The crab tteokbokki was one of the best dishes we had all trip.

“Came for brunch and absolutely loved it!! Was so fun to show my parents (visiting from Tokyo) this innovative take on Japanese food :) particularly enjoyed the fresh salads and the miso pancake. The restaurant itself is so beautifully decorated and made for the perfect morning meal ~“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“
