“We are full-time wedding photographers who did not have the pleasure of working at the Glen Island Harbour Club until January 2025. Winter weddings can be tough if you are not at an iconic location with extensive interiors conducive to photography meant to maximize the natural and ambient light, but in this case, it was perfect! The bridal suite was stupendous and the guys had a perfect place to get ready, too. All the areas had a lot of daylight considering it was the darkest time of the year and were elegantly furnished. The spaces all complimented the chosen scarlet red and classic tux look. We went outdoors for a bit despite the cold and windy day and loved the views of the water. Everywhere we went the staff was perfect for our couple, their family and friends, and us as vendors. We had scouted the venue beforehand, but we did not realize just how much room we’d have to work with - especially getting ready, taking spectacular shots on the staircase and in the lobby, during the ceremony even with so many guests, and for the reception with a huge dance floor. The food during cocktail hour was absolutely amazing with seemingly limitless options for everyone. The venue staff made sure we had a nice meal as well while checking in on the little things we love such as ensuring we’re set for the entrances and knew the itinerary for the reception. And again, this was our impression during the most difficult time of the year! I cannot imagine how extraordinary the property is during warm seasons, but we hope to find out soon. While this is written from the perspective of a small business owner, this is an unbiased and unsponsored review, and we appreciated the sensational first visit with hopefully many more to come. “Been coming here for events for about 20 years. Our most recent event was my dad's 70th. They continue to modernize and keep the place beautiful. The place is gorgeous and the food is delicious! Service is Exceptional for the last 20 years!! Mike and team are great! This is a gem in the Bronx!“
“Absolutely, hands down 10/10. From the very first email to the days following our wedding, the staff at The View, especially our friend Vincent, made us feel welcome and cared for. They were an absolute delight to work with, from beginning to end. From the moment you enter, the facilities are gorgeous. Everything is beautifully maintained and well thought out, including an AMAZING bridal AND groom suite, AND a salon area- which no other venue we looked at had. The in-house chef was happy to work with us to create a custom menu, that was not only fully vegetarian, but also included Indian, American and Italian classics. Our guests are still raving about the food! All areas of The View-ballroom, cocktail area, bar, patio, bridal/groom suites/salon- are stunning. It is the perfect size for a smaller or medium sized wedding, which was great because so many other venues in the area have guest minimums of 200 or 250. The facility is gorgeous. The staff and management are flexible, welcoming and attentive. The food is great. Bar is great. What more could you want! And if anyone reading this decides to have their wedding at The View- please invite me! I’m dying to return as a guest! 😂😂😂“

“Chef Jaime catered an outdoor party I hosted this week and she did a fabulous job. Everything from the presentation of the food to the food itself ( delectable) to the passing of wine and dessert to the clean up ( she left my kitchen spotless) was exceptional. My guests could not stop raving about the food for the entire afternoon (and for days afterwards!). She was also very intuitive about what was needed in the moment. And she and her assistant worked completely independently so I was able to enjoy my party. I recommend her most highly.“

“I found them online. When I called I spoke with Andrew the owner. He immediately put my mind at ease was willing to work with everything that I had wanted to, even took the time to stay on the phone with me while we were both online checking out pictures of different platters and different options to have. I threw myself a surprise 50th birthday party, and I wanted to have something different besides the normal Italian buffet. What I want to show you is absolutely spectacular, and as beautiful as it looks it doesn't compare to the taste. They were so professional brought in these beautiful heavy metal platters with serving spoons, tongues, and they also brought chopsticks soy sauce and a spicy male sriracha. I ordered a Kani salad and a Seaweed salad to go along with the different platter that I wanted. It was truly an amazing experience. Don't sleep on the opportunity to hire them to cater your next event. Mine was about a hundred people, and again I had other food but this was definitely the star of the show.“

“Excellent take out home cooked meal style food. I love and buy the salmon piece which is huge and is $8. I also get chicken cutlets for the kids. The cabbage and side items also look good but I just add at home a side and the meal is done. Also the coffee is my favorite in the neighborhood. Muffins melt in my mouth particularly the corn and chocolate chip. They should have more chocolate chip or maybe not bc I would buy and eat it more. There food is great home cooked style for a FAIR price. I’m so glad they are in my neighborhood.“

“Highly recommend DiBari’s! Just used them for my husband’s 50th and couldn’t have had a better experience. Right from the start Michael put my mind at ease. He immediately saw my vision for an outdoor evening cocktail party and put together the perfect menu. He saved me money wherever he could with his recommendations on food, where to/how much to purchase party supplies as well as table/chair rentals. I totally appreciated that Michael was there working with his staff for set up & how long he stayed to make sure everything was ready. My guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was as well as it’s beautiful presentation. The staff was wonderful…so friendly & efficient, I didn’t have to lift a finger. Thanks to Laura, Danielle, Javi & Wayne my guests were well taken care off all night. I couldn’t have been happier to see my clean kitchen & refrigerator stocked with leftovers at the end of the night. Overall great experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
