“This place is amazing. We’ve been here twice already for lunch and loved the experience. The server was very attentive and welcoming. The food was just delicious, with the perfect portions and sides. We had the chicken shish kebab, salmon with house salad, and humus. All 10/10. “I don't do very many google reviews, but wanted to share my experience at Madison Cafe today. I looked online and ordered a dish for take-out, noting the price of $10 on the menu I looked at. When I got there, a very pleasant guy gave me my order and charged me almost $19. I paid him first, then pointed out my concern about the price discrepancy, and was told that what I saw was a very old menu that was no longer valid. I said that the cafe should honor the price they display to the public on their website and it shouldn't be an issue for the customer if the wrong price is displayed, and asked to have the difference in price reimbursed to me. Understandably, he was not in a position to make that decision, so he called the owner, and after describing the situation put me on the phone with him. He precisely explained this issue that comes up with people taking pictures of menus and putting them on google in a way that is not "authorized" by the cafe, and that they've tried to get google to remove stuff like that, but to no avail. It's understandable how challenging this is for the business owner, and I agreed with the owner's comments about the pricing glitch. Making the decision to keep his customers happy, this fair-minded business owner said that my meal was on the house. He didn't have to do that-I was only asking for the difference to be returned to me, so kudos to this gentleman for his consideration, and I'll certainly patronize his establishment again. Thank you, sir for your gesture. BTW, the food was great!“

“Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“

“Always great food and a favorite. We've been getting takeout here for years since we moved to the area during the pandemic.The red lentil soup is my favorite and the spanakopita is amazing! We've had most items on the menu, you really can't go wrong. I prefer the Chicken Shih which is grilled and marinated chicken over the Chicken Gyro but they are both good. My husband enjoys the lamb.Because the dinning room isn't open yet and the blinds often closed, I think a lot of folks don't know it's open. It's a hidden gem in Ramsey and right near the train station.“

“If fresh authentic homemade pasta is what you crave, this is the place to go. Food is delicious and of high quality. You can taste that everything is authenticly Italian homemade with love and care. It's a limited menu but that is how they can put out such high quality. Prices are not cheap but worth it for the quality and execution. It's a small place with only few tables but we went for lunch and not a problem getting a table. BTW, it's a BYOB“

“Very nice little hole on the wall.Food is prepared as and when ordered, restaurant-like.Though the sitting is limited, the food is delicious.From what I observed, it is family-run, and it is a very nice family.I ordered the kebab platter, which plenty for two people. I didn't order fries, but saw them being placed in a to-go bag, and they look good too. I'll be getting them next time.“

“We had our baby's first birthday party / Korean dohljanchi at Mado and it could not have been more perfect. Aret and everyone at the restaurant were so wonderful to work with. They were happy to work with my requests and made party planning so easy. The space was the perfect size with ample parking for our guests. “We could not be happier with how our evening turned out at Olar Noso.A pretty place located right off of Tappan road, there’s ample parking and not a long wait time around 20:00 to be comfortably seated. The restaurant is spacious, lively but not noisy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Liv, our server, was on point with giving explanations and suggestions on the entrees. We absolutely loved the Salad: I think it consisted of: shredded ricotta salata, pear, pomegranate, arugula, walnuts, and farro (wheat berries), yum, a perfect symphony of flavors which has become one of my favorite dishes. The three of us ordered to share, we commenced with the Gnocchetti "Little pillows" of goat cheese and ricotta with hand-crushed organic tomato, caramelized eggplant, basil, ricotta salata, we found it to be a perfect combination of flavors with every bite. Next were the pizzas; Soppressata pizza topped withtomato, mozzarella, Soppressata, chili oil and honey (the added honey complimented the chili oil). Next, I was outvoted to try the pistachio pizza.. I’ve never had this in my life and asked Liv (as a fellow foodie) for guidance… with mixed reviews, it was decidedly my least favorite, however, it would be interesting to try it with pistachio nuts in a 60/40 blend (in a Vitamix) with ricotta as a spreadable topping (similar to the way a Nutella pizza is prepared).The food was amazing, you can tell their heart is in courtship with creativity by their constant pursuit to invent new and well balanced entrees (with lots to choose from).It’s great to see the way the restaurant blends locally sourced and seasonal ingredients into new creations bringing the farm to table experience for their patrons to enjoy. I would absolutely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.“

We talked it through from beginning to end and he politely provided his recommendations based on what I said I liked EVEN down to which dressing to choose so as not to combine too many salty flavors based on my other choices. I got a small, but it was such a considerable size, like some places might charge you for a large for the same oz. Additionally, a good price, I attached a picture of the cup, which was filled to the brim, and for $4.95 nowadays it’s a bargain.My main issue was the Shakshuka. Again, delicious food. However, the pricing was a bit strange. I ordered a Veggie Lover Shakshuka, which is $10.95. I also wanted Feta, so I wanted that extra. Notice that the Shakshuka is $10.25, and the Shakshuka with feta $10.75. You would assume feta must be 50 cents, right? And that for feta in addition to a Veggie Lover Shakshuka is 50 cents plus $10.95. Look at my receipt. The extra cheese was $2.00. This just seems weird and inconsistent, and when I discussed it with a worker, the worker says that the system automatically charges $2.00 for extras and that they couldn’t set individual prices.Additionally, it seems they forgot the mushrooms and spinach for my Veggie Lover Shakshuka, which comes with peppers, spinach, and mushrooms. However, the workers remedied this when I brought this to their attention, providing extra bread as well.Overall, lovely place with good food, but weird pricing systems that are a bit shady in my opinion. I’d recommend this place, but don’t buy extras since they’ll charge $2.00 for a sprinkle of feta.“
